Lucky Lou's Longshot Club

Everyone argues about the favourites. Lou looks at the big prices. This is Lucky Lou's Longshot Club, one horse racing longshot a day.

For twenty years Lou ran a café opposite Walthamstow dogs. She poured tea for bookies' runners, horsebox drivers and old boys with form books in their pockets. She learned that nobody looks properly at the outsiders, and that's where she has always looked.

So Lou plays one horse a day, always at 8/1 or bigger. She's straight with you from the start. Longshots lose more often than they win. That's what a big price means. You need patience, small stakes, and a cool head through the quiet spells.

What you won't get is five outsiders sent out so one can be shouted about. One horse, or none, with the reason every time.

Lou's tips have been recorded since late September. Every one is settled in the open, win or lose, so you can always see exactly how she is doing.

For punters who enjoy the thrill of a big price and want an honest guide. £9.99 for your first 28 days, then £35 every 28 days. Cancel any time.
