Frequently Asked Questions

Membership
What is Betfan Group?
Betfan Group is the UK's biggest tipster-management platform, managing a stable of professional tipsters across horse racing, greyhound racing, football, golf and other sports. We connect bettors — from novice to experienced — with expert tipsters who have been thoroughly proofed and verified.
Will I win every day?
No. There will be days with lots of winners and days with no winners. Betting always involves losing runs as well as winning runs. We provide full advice on betting bank management and staking so you can handle both. Our goal is to help you win over time.
What makes the tipsters so good?
All tipsters go through a stringent proofing period (typically 16–20 weeks minimum) before being allowed to run a live service on the Betfan Group platform. We maintain complete transparency in their records — you can see every bet ever advised and all the key performance figures, so you can make an informed choice before joining any service.
How will I receive my tips?
Once you've subscribed to a service, your tips arrive in three places:
- Email — sent to the address registered against your subscription
- Members Area — visible at any time when you sign in at members.betfan.com
- No-bet days — tipsters will inform you when there is no bet for the day
I joined today — will I receive today's tips?
If you joined a service after that day's tips have already been sent out, you can still see the advice by signing in to your Members Area. We strongly recommend logging in as soon as you join a service to check whether today's tips have already been posted.
I'm not receiving my emails
Please first check your junk or spam folders, and add [email protected] and the relevant tipster sender address to your contacts. We can never guarantee 100% email deliverability through every email provider, which is why the same tips are always available in the Members Area as a backup. If you're still not receiving them, please contact us.
Payments & Subscriptions
What payment methods are accepted?
All purchases are taken securely through PayPal. PayPal accepts most major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) as well as your PayPal balance.
How does my subscription work?
Subscriptions are paid in advance on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Discounts are available on longer subscription terms. In most cases your subscription will auto-renew at the end of each period unless you cancel.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel future payments either directly with PayPal or via the Cancel button next to the subscription in your Members Area. After cancellation you'll continue to receive your tips for the remainder of the period you have already paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Subscriptions paid for the current period are non-refundable, but you can cancel future renewals at any time. Digital downloads (one-off purchases of systems, PDFs, guides) are non-refundable once accessed or viewed. See our Terms & Conditions, section 5, for full details.
Can you guarantee a profit?
No. It would be impossible for any tipster service in the world to guarantee profit — no one can ever be 100% certain of the outcome of a horse race, football match or other sporting event because there will always be external factors outside anyone's control (a horse falls, a player is sent off, the weather changes the going, etc). What we can do is provide expertly-researched selections from professional tipsters with a long-term proven track record, along with full proofing records so you can choose services based on real evidence.
Betting
Do I need an account with a specific bookmaker?
No — you can bet wherever you feel comfortable. However, most tipsters will recommend a bookmaker for each tip to help you get the best available odds.
What sorts of bets do the tipsters cover?
Every service is different. Tipsters cover win, lay, place and each-way markets across a range of sports — currently horse racing, football, golf, greyhound racing and more.
What sort of stakes should I use?
All services recommend stake values for each tip in terms of points (typically 1 to 5). You assign your own monetary value to each point based on your own betting bank. Full bank-management and staking advice is provided with every service.
