Hi %%First Name%%,

Andy Bell's Racing Diary - On The Ball City (Sat 16th - Fri 22nd May 2015)

Saturday 16th. I'm off to Newmarket today and we have two bets lined up there and both are trained in the town. But before I get there I am going to Carrow Road to watch probably the most important local derby ever. We "Norwich" got a draw at the Scums Portman Road last week and it’s now time to show them who really are the bosses at Carrow Road.

The Marco Botti trained BRAVO ZOLO is my first advice of the day 6/1 ew and finally my strongest and a near maximum in the last is Roger Varion's DOUBLE UP at 5/2  who has been reportedly eating up the gallops in the last couple of weeks.

My father and I rock up at the directors box just before 12-00 and a large Gin and Tonic is immediately thrust my way and a Scotch my fathers. We settle down to watch and I'm surprised, not pleasantly I hasten to add at how well the Scum have started and their spoiling tactics are working a treat and Norwich are having trouble playing proper football. Half time and it’s goalless, Norwich really need to kick on second half as things could get a tad touchy unless they can stamp their authority on the game. I get a couple of glances as I name sure the tv in the box is switched on so I can also watch the racing. The perfect start as Ipswich are forced to stop a goal with a handball on the line and we have a penalty and they have ten men.

Oi oi 1-0 and against ten men you could be forgiven for thinking it’s game over. Norwich's defending is shocking and all of a sudden it's 1-1. Thankfully that was all Ipswich had to offer as Norwich go 2-1 and 3-1 up and cruise to victory and it could of very easily been 5-1. It's now Wembley next week and look out Middlesborough the Canaries are on a roll. A quick couple of beers in the Gunn club and than the forty five minute hop across to Newmarket. We arrive just in time to see the Richard Hannon TUPI being lead in with LATHARNACH behind him which doesn't bode well for us as our BRAVE ZOLO has finished fourth.

We had a great winning week last week making well over 100 points profit between my services, unfortunately I was too busy to get my column in and got my wrists slapped, but hey ho worse things happen at war and the hangovers were much more painful and now our good weeks work can only continue with the hot information I have received on DOUBLE UP in the last.

Mr Bailey and his crew are up the corner and I also inform them of my tip and they all back him and for decent money as well. We all share a bottle of wine and in no time it's us up. Coming into the dip William Buick only needs to give the reins the gentlest of shakes and it’s game over as he bolts in by fourish lengths giving us another winning day and securing me a favor with the boys up the corner in the process.

In all a super, super day the Canaries are heading to Wembley and we have hit another winning day.
