I'm sure you have all seen the X Factor, The Voice, Britains Got Talent, Strictly and many more television reality shows. Well now it looks like racing is getting in on the act.
Plans are being hatched for a celebrity racing contest in which people will compete with each other to ride in a big charity race to be sponsored by Sheik Fahad Al Thani whose Qipco organisation already sponsor last weeks Newmarket classics.
Two celebrities who have been approached at this stage are Gold Medal cyclist Victoria Pendleton and Top Gears Richard Hammond.
Mind you the mind boggles at seeing Lester Piggott cast as Simon Cowell or Big Mac as Len Goodman however the way that racing has taken to Qatari involvement in racing you can bet it will grace our screens next year.
The first two Classics have been and gone and now we look forward to the next two at Epsom in June. I'm sure there will be a few pointers at Chester this week and then at the Dante meeting at York.
I hope most of you are keeping up with my weekly eyecatchers as they continue to hit the winners with Outback Ruler at 16/1 and Birdman winning three in a row.
You see the reason that my eyecatchers are far superior to any others out there is I watch the races in detail and pay as much attention to the horses at the back as to those up front.
I was always taught that seeing is believing and that you should let your eyes be your guide, your pocket your best friend and the money the last thing you part with.
Last week we hit the target with Don Cossack and this weeks Howies Hottie is a lot more speculative but will be a big, big price.
I'm going in the Chester Cup at 3.10 which is an ultra competitive staying handicap. The selection is the Ian Williams trained Destruct who was bought very cheaply in France after picking up an injury.
Ian has nursed the horse back to fitness and has booked the enforcer Kieron Fallon to ride. If you go through the colts French form he would be up to group class and whatever happens today on his seasonal debut he could be worth following.

Monsieur Chevalier trainer J.Givens - 7 furlongs looked bit on the short side last week and at a mile in the right grade or even a claimer he should be followed.
Rufford trainer L.Carter - Ex Richard Fahey horse who has come back to form on a decent rating. He can follow up his recent polytrack win.
Top Cop trainer R.Harris - Front runner who is best on a sound surface. When he gets an easy lead he can win and it might be worth trying him back at 5 furlongs.
Emell trainer R.Hannon - All dressed up and no where to go at Goodwood and once in the clear he powered home.
Moheet trainer R.Hannon - After a slow start he was always playing catch up in the 2,000gns however he showed a telling turn of foot to get in the clear approaching the bushes while bumping some of his rivals on his way through. This took its toll and he could not get near the winner. The colt is still maturing and he will improve.
Top Tug trainer Sir M.Stoute - He needs softer ground and a longer trip as last Saturday was just a pipe opener.
Persona Grata trainer E.Walker - The filly ran well at Windsor but needs a softer surface.
Birdman trainer D.O'meara - Well I did tell you about him back in the day before the band waggon jumpers appeared but he can win again even when stepped up to a mile.
Laviniad trainer W.Mullins - Noted staying on late when denied a clear run in a handicap over in Ireland. Willie Mullins can train horses on the flat as well as over jumps and when this fellow next appears don't miss him.
