A Massive Week For Jose Mourinho

At about 10pm on Tuesday the Jose Mourinho reign at Old Trafford could be over. The manager needs Manchester United to produce a rousing performance and big win at home against Valencia in the Champions League to give him some breathing space. Mourinho is now the favourite in the market to be the first Premier League manager to leave his position and that could happen sooner rather than later.

Its match day 2 and Manchester City have some ground to make up after losing at home to Lyon. Tottenham lost away at Juventus after conceding two late goals. Liverpool produced another barn storming win at home to PSG. Ironically United had the easiest first match in beating Young Boys in Switzerland. ENGLAND are 2/1 to be the Champions League winning nation.

The Monday Night Football match is Bournemouth’s home fixture against Crystal Palace. Everybody knows now that Palace are a better team when Wilfried Zaha plays and he is fit to start tonight. His side do not concede early goals and four of the last six meetings have not produced a definite outcome. Both clubs won 44 points last season so the DRAW is the bet at 13/5 with Betfair.

The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe is the most prestigious Flat race in Europe. It’s the middle distance championship contest and brings together the Classic generation and older horses. Enable is the clear favourite for Sunday’s race at Longchamp. Last year’s winner receives a sex allowance but no concession based on age. FOREVER TOGETHER needs supplementing but the Oaks winner receives the age and gender allowance and looks a big price at 25/1 with Ladbrokes to win the Arc.

Roscommon is the most valuable meeting in Britain and Ireland today with the 8 jumps races at the track offering €124,000 in prize money. The Grade 3 novice chase over a bit further than two miles (4.15) is the richest race on the card. St Stephens Green won over fences at the Galway festival and the form has worked out well. However, the trip and track will suit CADMIUM, the banker at 6/4 with bet365.
