Well what can I say about Epsom we had so many horses go close it was really quite frustrating as we could have had lots of winners at big prices instead of lots of close seconds or each way bets coming 4th.
Still we made enough on oaks day to cover it all with 20/1 advised winner and we landed some each way legs of multiple bets which was quite lucrative as the prices were huge we had 4 placed horses on the day at prices up to 40/1. We were there or there about again with the majority of our selections so a bit of luck could have given us a jackpot day.
TUESDAY’S HORSES IN FOCUS
CHEPSTOW 2:30 IMPERIAL LINK comes out well on our speed ratings and looks even more interesting when the price is 16/1 that’s well over priced and the horse should go close today. Connections are looking for a big run from PICKALITTLE 16/1 so I would expect that horse to go close today.
3:00 We have an account bet going in this race connections feel they have a decent horse on their hands and must go close today our members are on but the price is still more than fair.
4:00 STAR OF DOHA 11/1 is certainly a horse that will win soon and one for the note book. Looks well over priced for this race. The ground may be softer than ideal but she should run a good race. I will also be playing some each way multiples on Fran Berry today he has some great rides and is just about to burst into top form he certainly doesn’t lack confidence right now so he could rack up a few today.
WEATHERBY 3:10 BROTHER MCGONAGAL 6/1 is just running himself into form right now and is certainly capable of better as he matures. I don’t think he is the finished article yet and should soon start moving his mark forward. They always thought he was better than a 60 rated horse.
4:10 Another account bet here and a huge run is expected at a decent price.
YARMOUTH 3:20 Although there is a short favourite our ratings suggest that drifter ASKARI 8/1 is the horse to be with hopefully the extra distance will see the horse in a better light but I would rather take a risk at 8/1 then pay odds on for Albert boy who only ranks 3rd best in our ratings.
3:50 LINKS BAR MARBELLA 66/1 could be over priced if taking to the faster ground and extra distance I think the price looks huge considering. Just looks the type to do better. Yet will have to settle the horse is quirky as hell but it’s usually those types that run terrible until they win at a huge price so I’m happy with a small risk considering the potential but I am aware it may leave me with egg on my face - so could an odds on shot though!
4:50 BANTA BAY is a horse I gave you to follow he has had one run and it was promising but should be much more alert today especially with the visor on first time. 11/1 is fair enough.
