Last Saturday you were told in no uncertain terms how I felt the step up in trip would help Rusumaat.

"Back Rusumaat each way at 10/1 with paddy power and watch as the Trainer doesn’t smile during the presentation but he will be happy inside."

Rusumaat made all under the brilliant Richard Kingscote and pulled off a famous coup for this column and the Simon Holden Racing Club.

We also gave Harry Angel for the club and the all new Betfan TV in conjunction with the Simon Holden Racing Club so as you can imagine it was an enjoyable visit to Haydock.

Today’s BetFan TV Tip is currently 14/1 CLICK HERE to get it FREE!

Down in Epsom wasn’t too bad yesterday as the club gave Mythical Madness @40/1 in the morning. I told all members that this price was madness. The horse finished a fast second @20/1 we knew and we got on at 7.30 am. Only the cleaner beat our price.

We then had a max win on Enable at 7/1 and shouted Frankie home!

52.50 points in the bag for June with just two days of betting!

£525.00 for £10 point bettors… £5,250 for £100 point bettors!!!

Right it’s Derby Day and the World’s most famous race has a very open feel. Is it a particularly strong renewal? Probably not but it’s a fascinating race. Joint faves Cliffs of Moheer and Cracksman will have their fans but there not for me. I like the Brian horse who I saw win the Chester Vase Venice Beach and I think he is a cracking each way bet at 14/1.

Even more so with bet365 because they are 1/4 the odds 4 places and top price. Now that’s a sign of an open Derby. By Galileo out of a Danehill Dancer mare he is a classic type for this race and whilst not flashy he strikes me as being a very strong galloper. Derby’s are not always won by flashy types and this horse reminds me of North Light who just got into a searching gallop that the others couldn’t sustain. I’m convinced the horse will be bang there and also the presence of Permian and other front runners will guarantee a searching gallop.

So we are all set for a big day and the Simon Holden Racing Club has other bets one that is strongly fancied and is a massive price so there is still time to get involved.

Have a great Derby Day!
