9th May 2017

Hi ,

Well last Tuesday went well for us although we only found one winner on our horses in focus. The horse in question was one of our 2 account bets, so it was a good day. It’s been an up and down week since then we haven’t had a huge amount of bets. Saturday proved a very unlucky day for us. We gave out four bets at really good prices 16/1, 14/1, 12/1 & 9/1. Now the 14/1 shot was a flop on the day but all the other 3 placed and everyone was the fastest finisher with GOLDREAM nearly getting there but missing first run. The Warrior finished like a train and will surely win next time over the same trip or a little further he was trapped against the fence and couldn’t get out all the way down the home straight. Finally free after the furlong pole I couldn’t believe how this horse picked up. He went from 10l down to 1l down in a matter of strides but sadly the line came. DEFINITELY ONE TO WATCH.

The next horse was DANCE THE DREAM really well backed all day and ran a woeful race until the last Half mile. All race was out the back no travelling being niggled and chivvied and doing nothing much right but just got stronger as the race went on and maybe would have won in another furlong. On a good note we did suggest privately to our members that we were having an each way lucky 15 on these and as we got 3 places at prices it almost paid for the bets losing. That will never be recorded on our results. It’s just the right thing to do for our members we care about your success!

TUESDAY’S HORSES IN FOCUS

14:30 Ayr Tue 9 May 1m2f Mdn Stks We have to make short priced favourite STRECH BOOK VENUE 7/4 a negative for us on the clock the horse comes out not too well. I think the time of ARCHIBELLE is far superior and I would expect that horse to make its presence felt here. 7/2 is a little value so that would be the selection.

Ayr 3-00 Handicap (Class 4) 10f PULLMAN BROWN is the one we like here. It was a great run from him last race over a distance that was probably just a little short so the extra distance here should suit very well making 6/1 look like a good price. The horse is match fit too so I would be disappointed if he can’t get a place at least.

Ayr 4-00 Handicap (Class 5) 6f We have an account bet in this race after a phone call last night alerting me to a horse that should show a vast improvement in this race. This info was with members yesterday early evening and the horse is still trading at a really decent price.

Leicester 6-30 Handicap (Class 5) 6f KATCHESS is being backed like defeat is out of the question but at the price I think it’s really too short yes there could be a ton of improvement to come but less than 2/1 in such a competitive race is not where I would be putting my money. I can see something at a price taking this maybe IN THE SPOTLIGHT 8/1, CHICAGO STAR 14/1 or LIMELIGHT who is trading at 40/1 on the exchanges all look over priced. As well as others too so 2/1 about the fav is not good business. Yes it may well win but we play the margins and there is none in continually betting this profile over the long term.

Leicester 7-00 Handicap (Class 4) 10f Strange betting market here and on the surface BERGUILLOS looks strong but his ratings don’t look very good. According to them we want either COMPTON MILL or MARIEE. Primogeniture would too be shorter if from a more popular stable 14/1 makes that horse look tempting for a punt!

Leicester 8-30 Handicap (Class 6) 7f We have mentioned BANTA BAY in a newsletter before only for the horse to be withdrawn he goes here today in a race his connections think he will go close 14/1 looks an ok sort of price but there are plenty of runners. Certainly one to watch out for I think he will win soon.

Back Next Tuesday.

Best Wishes,

Matt
