They do say honesty is the best policy so lets be clear there is a post Cheltenham pre Aintree lull in the racing world but there are decent meetings at Newbury and Kelso over the jumps and an ok meeting on the all weather at Lingfield “stop me if you think I’m over hyping them.”

The big training operations have their eyes on Aintree and the Grand National and it’s not far away now beginning a week on Thursday. Can the combined talents of Britain repel the marauding Irish battalions? We shall see but one thing I can say for certain is that the Simon Holden Racing Club will be betting extensively over the three days. My members will be the best informed punters out there as I have been made aware of significant gambles on horses who have been kept for Aintree.

Join today because on Monday I will be releasing exclusively for members my two ante post selections for the Grand National itself. These are two horses I’m convinced will be much shorter on the day of the great race and one is a massive price. Join me, get the bets on Monday and secure these prices!

3.35 Newbury is a juvenile handicap hurdle and the most interesting race on the card, Don Bersey is a horse going places and it was hard not to be impressed by his win at Haydock last time out. Tom Symonds horse kicked a decent field out of the way and despite his wins looks a well handicapped horse. Aiden Coleman takes the ride today and he should land another winner for this likeable horse. 100/30 with bet365 looks too big to me.

It may be a low key Saturday but it’s still the greatest sport in the World, join me and remember on Monday two huge Grand National gambles are released to members, be there and be part of it.
