Today’s racing centres around a strong meeting at Kempton, it’s good to see people rallying to the cause to keep the place open although when authorities make a decision to close a place it usually happens. Lets enjoy the place while we still have it and the race I’m looking forward to most is the 3.35 the Bet Bright Chase a Grade 3 contest. They will whiz round here for three miles on decent ground and the key will be not getting too far back. Three miles seems a long time but round here if you are playing catch up you struggle.

Irish Saint is a fascinating contender and is just the sort to get into a rhythm here and he has strong course form to back that theory up winning all three starts here. After a long time without a win he is slipping down the weights nicely too. Third last time where he clearly didn’t get up the Sandown hill in a better race than this. I think he has to go very close today and I’m backing him in a win bet at 6/1 with Bet Victor.

Lets hope we can go three in a row with the column selections and that you can join me in through Cheltenham and beyond.
