There is a runner today that we highlighted in this newsletter LAKESHORE DRIVE runs today and 11/2 is the price. Before you jump in with both feet remember what we said last time ‘LAKESHORE DRIVE we backed at 8/1 last night it set off at 6/1 and ran a race full of promise. Doesn’t have the pace to lay up early the horse finished really well. Next time up as long as he stays at this distance or further he will be a big player let’s just hope the price is right.’

Well the horse is dropping in distance. I can’t see that being right and I can only assume that connections are plotting a bigger price down the road. The horse was seen to great effect finishing strong over 3 miles but wasn’t picking up until the last 2 furlongs. That’s not to say the horse can’t win but the price is a little skinny for the risk.

Last week we threw up multiple winners again like LOS TUNAS 10/1 advised, BOUNDS HILL 4/1 sp, ARISTOCLES placed at 33/1 advised, THE MIGHTY DON was a non-runner on the day but came out and won a few days ago being backed from 8/1 to 4/1. Another placed eye catcher was HORSED KEYNES at 14/1 that was the first bit of form the horse has shown for a while and is likely to come on a bundle for that run. He should WIN his next race. So that is one for the note book!

TUESDAY’S HORSES IN FOCUS

SOUTHWELL 2:10 Tough race to work out the market favours BO SELECTA and LOG OFF in that order. I can see why yet I just think both are too short and it looks like a race where something maybe lurking at a big price. KYLLACHYS TALE wasn’t too far away at Kempton and should prefer this surface 16/1 looks a bargain and DIAMOND PRINCESS is 22/1 and also looks an e/w chance. I’m told the horse is working well at home and should be better for the step up in trip. They think she is better than a 45 horse.

2:40 I couldn’t argue with NATIVE PROSPECTS chance here maybe a little short but that YORK run was probably the best piece of form on offer. Elegantly bound does rate clear on the clock though so that would put me off a short price for the fav. My clock shows good progress being made by DIBLOAM 100/1 with paddy power at the time of writing. Don’t get carried away he still rates low but if the improvement keeps on at the same pace he could get in the frame.

3:10 This race is like clutching at straws ALPHA TOURI 25/1 looks too big but so does BOOTS AND SPURS AND HARWOODS STAR. DUSKY DAWN was the one I was drawn to last night around 7/1 looks about the right price. Not a race I can get over involved in.

3:40 Another hard race to work out DUNGANNON would have a big chance on her best form she could carry these. CROSSE FIRE comes out well on the speed ratings and is top but a jump up in class will make things tough. ARCHIMEDES e/w is the selection as a horse that has always been well thought of 7/1 looks fair.

4:10 VERY FIRST BLADE is likely to be there at the business end. I just think the fav may be a little short. KYLLACH ME ran a good race last time and has to enter calculations. While LlEWELLYN was backed by us last time after a yard tip and ran with some promise the drop back in distance may be ideal and 11/1 looks fair on what we were told he must be a player today.

TAUNTON 2:20 MARGRETS ROSE 6/1 and BEL ESPRIT 12/1 are two against the field for this race. Caution advised though it is a race where you could back 10 and still maybe not find the winner!

2:50 THUNDERING HOME would have a squeak on his best form 22/1 is enough to take a chance also I have heard that a big run is expected from TACTICAL MANOEUVRE 18/1 with betstars at the time of writing.

4:50 PARKEM JACK is a big price for this race 16/1 with betstars the horse goes well fresh and connections think they have him right at home.

WETHERBY 4:00 AENGUS 10/1 is the selection here connections are predicting a huge run today. I am taking the advice and getting on.
