Then a fortnight later the steeplechase of the year is back with the Stan James Irish Gold Cup. On Sunday 12th February 2017 the highlight of the Irish racing calendar sees some world-class horse racing. One of the most prestigious race days in the National Hunt Season, this is Ireland's only race meeting to feature four Grade 1's on a single day.
