28th December 2016

Hi ,

I hope you all enjoyed the Christmas festivities but it’s amazing how it all passes in a flash as we move towards the new year. On the sporting front we have witnessed the good, the bad and the ugly!

On the good we have seen some excellent football played by Premier League leaders Chelsea. The bad is the tactics employed by Tony Pulis at West Brom where at the Emirates against his team did nothing but defend for the entire game apart from the odd breakaway.

For me I don’t care who they play the game is about being entertained especially when fans are paying up to £100 a ticket. It doesn’t happen when you go to the theatre and a top football stadium is no different.

As for the ugly well that award goes to Sheffield Wednesday who rough housed their way to beat Newcastle on Monday evening as I have never seen a team commit so many fouls over ninety minutes.

Congratulations to Andrew Thornton for joining the thousand winner club this week when he rode a double at Wincanton. Andrew has been riding for 26 years and he would be the first to admit he might not be the most stylish but he knows how to ride a power packed finish.

A quick update on my Fast Cash Racing the service that delivers place only bets. Well so far this month we have made a profit of about £200 to advised stakes of £20 plus a slight increase if we have a rare loser. I mean betting to £100 you would be £1000 up with very little sweat or worry. As I keep reminding people it’s a 2nd income club.

Today’s Howard’s Hottie goes in the 1.45 Lingfield on Marshall Aid. I have watched this 3 year old all season and have always been of the opinion that he needs a test of stamina. Well today he goes over the 2 mile trip which should suit him. Lets hope all 8 runners go to post so we can bet each way.
