Cricket tipsters are few and far between, which surprises me given the variety of betting opportunities the sport offers and the potential value to be had as bookmakers as often spend less resources on these “secondary” betting sports.

The Cricket Counsel was launched as recently as November 2017 by Dave Owens, a former online poker player, who recognised that the skills that made him successful at that could be transferred to cricket betting. His selections are based on the volume of cricket he watches, reviews and researches.

Our Three month review;

Two out of three profitable months and a net return on investment of 14.96% after the cost of the membership (at £10 per point stakes) makes this a value for money service based on our trial period. £30 per month is a middle of the road price in the current tipster market and to be able to clear an average of over £220 per month net profit to £10 per point stakes (over £1,250 to £50 stakes) is very acceptable. With the quarterly option available, effectively giving a free month out of every three, then the net returns can be enhanced further still.

Six! Oh no, we don’t give 6-star ratings, but The Cricket Counsel definitely hit the boundary with a 4-star performance over the period of our review! I have been desperate to find a tipster capable of making money in a market that is often under-utilised despite bookmakers giving it less attention than football, horse racing etc. For me at least, at last a cricket tipster to add to any portfolio.
