TODAY'S WIN FREE TIP NEWS:

TWO UNLUCKY HORSES TO WATCH OUT FOR!

This week I have reviewed race videos of the action in the last week. I have made my notes and have several horses I am watching out for next time. I noticed two very unlucky horses that I thought I could share with readers this week. You too could review both of these horses by going to attheraces.com and click on replays.

First unlucky horse of the week was a horse called Compas Scoobie from the yard of Roger Varian. The race was at Yarmouth on Wednesday 3rd May at 8.20pm. Compas Scoobie was running four days after winning at Wolverhampton with no penalty to carry as it was an apprentice race he won. Cameron Noble a claiming jockey rode the horse as he did at Wolverhampton. I noticed the pace was not 'flat-out' as you would expect in a sprint so the field were crowding two furlongs out where Compas Scoobie had absolutely nowhere to go....I think a more senior jockey might not have been in the position Cameron found himself in.....but experience is a big thing! In the last half furlong Compas Scoobie absolutely flew but the birds had flown and it was impossible to get up. It's certain he would have won with a clear run. The horse is set to go up 5lbs anyway but will be in my book still be of very interested in. Make a note of Compas Scoobie but as at Sunday7th May he as yet has no further entries. Also watch the race replay to see if you agree with me.

This brings me on to the second unlucky horse which actually ran on Saturday 6th May at Wexford in 3.30pm. The horse concerned is Henry De Bromhead's Stars Over The Sea ridden by 5lb claimed Dylan Robinson. There were only five runners and while four of them were near the starting line the Race Starter let them go leaving Stars Over The Sea 20 lengths behind the field. The Starter in my opinion never gave the jockey and horse a chance to join the rest of the field....big mistake Mr Starter! I don't think the Starter looked to see what was going on behind the four horses near the tape. Anyway Stars Over The Sea was ridden to excess to catch up the rest of the field and did so taking up the running at about halfway and leading until between the last two hurdles....his exertions took toll and the horse finished third beaten five lengths. In my view the horse doesn't look straightforward so I would be putting a senior jockey onboard next time where I think Stars Over The Sea will be something to bet-on. Again you need to watch the replay on atthe races.com and if you agree with me put the horse in your alerts column.

I hope these comments and observations are helpful to you all.
