Unity Racing Newsletter

Hello and welcome to another Tuesday newsletter. We have had a month of near misses with our horses. It has certainly been one of the more challenging months. We end on a positive note though as we made a decent profit on the last day thanks to a couple of decent gambles going in.

So the start of a new month and with Unity Racing Club there will be plenty of Christmas gambles over the course of the month. Many horses are out to win to get some money in the pot for Christmas.

Well I thought SMAD PLACE had gone off far too fast in the Hennessy which was good as we had backed THEATRE GUIDE e/w at 16/1 and knew that he would be staying on at the finish and so he did but the bird had already flown!

Great race riding by WAYNE HUTCHINSON I think all the other jockeys were in the same mind that he had gone too fast and just let him go. It will be an interesting Gold Cup this year if he doesn’t go for the King George instead!

Today’s Racing- we now have heavy ground at Southwell and Lingfield. It’s always pretty soft at Lingfield. They really need to sort out the drainage of the course. I remember last year there was standing water on the track for a decent part of the season and it’s such a lovely track. It’s a shame.

OK free bet time we will do something a little different today. We will stick to the all-weather at Wolves. The 5:10 race is very interesting we have had good shouts on 3 horses in this field. PATRON OF EXPLORES 5/1, MOUNT CHEIRON 7/1 & HAATEFINA 12/1. Now our clients were on HAATEFINA at 20/1 first thing e/w. I think the right bet for this race is a combination forecast and combination tri-cast on these 3 horses and that way we can have a bit of fun to small stakes with the chance of bagging a big win.
