New Years Resolutions - Never Again....

3rd January 2017

Hi ,

It’s always the same, you get to the New Year and decide that you’re going to lose weight, stop drinking, exercise more and so on and so on. We’ve all done it and at the beginning of the year, we all feel that it’s the best opportunity to start afresh.

Rightly so as well!

It’s a New Year and we all feel that we can get going onto something new as does the calendar, with a new date!

What happens? You know the deal ;)

Come February we end up looking back and thinking to ourselves, where did that resolution end up?

I was doing so well and now I’m doing exactly what I was doing in early December.

Sound familiar?

It’s called the Human Condition and because we’re human we all suffer from it.

There’s one thing though that the Human Condition has never affected within myself, and that’s my betting.

Well, that’s a lie.

In the early years, it did a lot and I used to kick and moan like hell when I lost a bet. It was the “jockey’s fault” and the “trainer should never have sent the horse to the track”. I even blamed my mother if she’d rang when I did my analysis!

I mean as if I did all of that!

It doesn’t happen anymore but that’s because I’ve learned a lot over the years and one of the biggest things I’ve learned over the years is that New Year doesn’t change anything.

We’re still the same person and if anything needs to change it needs to be ourselves not a date on the calendar.

One thing we can do, though, no matter what time of the year it is, is change the way that we sign up to a tipster. We need to see if that tipster is right for us. This can be done easily enough and will make life a lot simpler if we do a little homework.

One tipster that always works for me though is Unity Racing like I said last night. They were so close today with a win bet advised at 12/1 and it came third at 7/1!! I appreciate that’s not a winner but it was damn close.
