Wednesday's FREE Tip Is Ready...

28th October 2015

Hi ,

It seems that Jose Mourinho has got himself into deep water again with the F.A. after his latest skirmish at Upton Park last Saturday. Personally I have a certain amount of sympathy for the great manager as his Chelsea side were by far the better team against West Ham until the referee intervened with two debatable decisions.

In particular the Fabregas goal which was deemed that his knee was offside. Do the officials know how stupid this sounds as can you imagine back in the day when Micky Quinn was playing I'm sure they would have given his belly offside.

The same could be said of the big Derby game in the North East where Newcastle were outplaying Sunderland until the ref decided to make the Magpies play with ten men and give the Black Cats a huge advantage. All I really ask is that the officials use more common sense rather than go by the letter of the law as this would be fairer to all the teams and also to us punters who like to bet on the beautiful game.

Well this week has been amazing for my eye-catcher selections with The Ducking Stool @ 11/1, Shah of Persia @ 11/1, B Fifty Two @ 14/1, Sovereign Debt @ 3/1, Dhahmaan @ 4/7 all winning plus David Livingstone, Workbench And Guard of Honour placed at juicy prices.

Hope you all took advantage of them.

For Howies Hottie today I'm taking a stab at the 7.25 Kempton a 12 furlong handicap. The selection is Hiorne Tower from the John Best stable. The horse has been beaten out of site on his last two runs over 2 miles but I'm hoping the drop down in trip could make the difference to this free running sort.

Never be afraid to back horses that were out with the washing last time as too many punters and bookmakers take form at face value which is why we get big prices on some horses that haven't performed in recent races.

As an example just check out two winners yesterday in Arnold Lane and Ashdown Lass and you can see what i mean.

Always remember racing is not an exact science and there are a hundred and one reasons why horses don't run to form.

EYE-CATCHERS

FLAT

Aldayha trainer R.Hannon - Looked the likely winner last time until collared in the final furlong. I think better ground or a drop in trip could be the answer.

Pool House trainer M.Murphy - Showed a glimmer of his old ability at Chelmsford and can still win in low grade.

Jammy Guest trainer G.Margason - A very frustrating gelding with tons of ability. He was touched off last week and needs an extra furlong or a fast run race.

JUMPERS

Tradewinds trainer Lucinda Russell - He was placed at Cheltenham and his shrewd connections can soon find winning opportunities for him.

Brave Sparticus trainer K.Reveley - This front runner could not get his own way at Aintree but still ran a sound race. Once he gets into his stride at the head of affairs he will be tough to pass.

Back next Wednesday have a good week and be lucky.

Howard Davis-Shaw.
