Wednesday's FREE Tip Is Ready...

23rd September 2015

Hi ,

It was great to see the Rugby World Cup get off to such an exciting start with some top notch rugby being played up and down the country.

In my home town of Brighton we have had two super games at the Amex Stadium especially the game where the South Africans were turned over by the virtually unfancied Japan.

I have to say Brighton was buzzing over the weekend with so many rugby fans down on the South Coast. You have to say the whole area owes much to Tony Bloom for financing the stadium and bringing so much added business to a vibrant Brighton and Hove.

I don't know if you watched the Saturday Lunchtime football match between Chelsea and Arsenal and what you thought of the antics of Diego Costa. To me he is a cheat and one of the most unsporting professionals I have ever seen in fact he makes Luis Suarez look like a choir boy.

It is so refreshing to see the rugby players accepting refereeing decisions while their footballing counter parts protest at everything and anything plus when they go down from the slightest knock it's like the end of the World has arrived.

Johnny Francome once said to me when a footballer goes down injured they don't need a magic sponge but a big stick to whack them with and stop them play acting.

Just average racing today and for Howies Hottie I'm going in the lucky last which is the 8.55 Kempton. The tip is Top Offer from the Peter Crate stable.

Who would believe this horse was once favourite for the 2000gns a few years ago when owned by Prince Khaled and trained by Roger Charlton. The gelding races off a mark of 62 which is about his level these days but he is capable in this grade and has a good jockey on top in Shane Kelly.

The jolly Beau Amadeus would be a danger but at the likely prices I would rather be with Top Offer each way.

EYE-CATCHERS

FLAT RACING

Rocket Rob trainer W.Musson - He went well at Sandown on unsuitable ground running on strongly at the finish.

Elm Park trainer A.Balding - An easy winner last week this high class colt is one to be with especially when the ground is soft.

Giddy trainer R.Fahey - The filly disappointed at Ayr when strongly fancied despite showing up well untill the final 2 furlongs. She is much better than that and should be given another chance.

Navajo Chief trainer T.Jarvis - The gelding showed more zest last week finishing 3rd and can win off his reduced rating.

Ebtihaal trainer S.Bin Suroor - Noted staying on from the rear after running green. I'm sure you will see a more street wise horse next time out.

Back next Wednesday have a good week and be lucky.

Howard Davis-Shaw.
