Hello and welcome to another Newsletter from Unity Racing Club.

September has not really begun to fire yet as we enter the 2nd half of the month. We have been up and down like a yoyo. That said we have done little damage to our account and we remain in pretty healthy shape overall.

Todays horses that should be noted include good old Doctor Parkes who drops down to a class 4 event after spending most of the year running in class 2 and 3 events. Connections have done this plenty of times before. We have been on several of them to see the horse just isn’t quite good enough for class 2 and 3 events, yet once the mark drops they like to put him back into class 4 handicaps and he runs much better and usually at bigger prices too. He is 20/1 with paddy power and I wouldn’t put anyone off a small flutter to each way stakes despite a nonrunner that has left only 7 going to post.

All this changeable weather definitely makes it hard to be accurate with selections but for our free bet I am going to go with a horse we backed last run. The money was down that day yet despite running well he couldn’t quite get on terms.
