Sunday Issue

31st May 2015

Hi %%First Name%%,

Where has the year gone The Don can’t believe next Saturday is Derby Day and I will be making my way to my accommodation on Thursday night for what is always an amazing days racing.

Oaks Day and Coronation Cup day are on the Friday which should in itself be an amazing day and then on Saturday we come to the colts, the derby itself.

It is still the most important middle distance race held in Europe and whoever wins is destined for a Stud career worth millions. The race has been dominated by Coolmore recently but this year they are struggling for genuine contenders however don’t rule them out from pulling a rabbit out of the hat and remember they have had big priced selections run well here in the past!

John Gosden saddles the favourite Golden Horn who has huge stamina doubts in my book and as I wrote recently I was not impressed by this years Dante at York so The Don won’t be lumping on him as many of my Tipster colleagues seem to be. I still prefer the chances of Zawraq for Dermot Weld and I’m not concerned that he hasn’t taken in a trial as Weld is a master at producing them on the big day.

I have a tremendous record at Epsom and Ascot so June is a month to follow the Don so please get involved.

On to today and Nottingham, in truth not a good card but there could be a very nice horse on debut and it's certainly worth a bet. Ajaya makes a debut in the 2.15 for Mr Haggas and has been pleasing the team there. This looks a good introductory level and I would take the 6/5 with Bet365 this morning. His sire Invincible Spirit produces first time winners.

Lets hope he takes this before going on to much better things.

Get ready for a mega June of Epsom and Ascot, trust in The Don, he’s A number 1.

Back next Sunday.
