Off The Tee With Golf Genie...

So close last week with Stenson finishing in clear second place .We picked the one week where Garcia decided to putt well!!

Onwards and upwards and this week its the pebble beach pro am where a host of famous faces join the top American pros in a Tournament that is taken very seriously and is a huge event over there.

Its played over three golf courses with everybody then going back to Pebble beach for the Sunday.Therefore unusually the cut will come on Saturday evening when everyone has played three courses on the rotation.

Pebble Beach is where the cameras will largely stay and even if you hate golf (are you mad) then the scenery is worth watching itself .

Jack Nicholas said if he could have one more round of golf before he died he would have it at Pebble Beach, praise indeed.

So played over three courses with varying conditions we would be mad to go for faves this week because its so unpredictable so what about a player who loves these courses and has had success here in the past at 40/1!

Step forward last years PGA Champ Jimmy Walker who has been practicing hard and feels he has found some real form.Walker is a class act round here and will be bang there if he translates that form to the course and theres no reason to believe he will .

Im not sure if Clint Eastwood is still playing in this but if he is watch him very carefully , did he have six shots or only five!!
