A Lucky 31 at 3 points a line. Here is what was coming back as each horse crossed the line.
Why a Lucky 31 is so dangerous
Every single, double, treble, four-fold and the five-fold. When the whole card comes in, all 31 pay at once.
The record · every bet, winners and losers
Full-cover bets lose on quiet days — and you can see every one of them here. Then one afternoon pays for the lot, many times over. Every bet settled line by line at the advised odds and stake.
How it works
Three to five selections on racing days across British and Irish racing, each with the course, time and odds.
Full-cover bets: every single, double, treble and accumulator. One winner pays something. Two or three start to stack. All of them is the jackpot.
Stakes are points per line. A 1-point Lucky 31 is 31 bets, 31 points in all. Keep it the same every day so you're on in full when the big one lands.
What 14 October means in money. A point is the stake you choose. At £1 a point, that Lucky 31 cost £93 and paid £3,902.71. At £2 a point, £186 paid £7,805.42.
Settled at the advised odds, without bookmaker bonuses. Full-cover bets lose on most days when one horse or none wins, and there will be losing runs. Past results don't guarantee future profits. Only bet what you can afford to lose.

Five horses covered in 31 bets: 5 singles, 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 four-folds and one five-fold. A Lucky 15 is the same idea with four horses and 15 bets. One winner still returns something; the more winners, the faster it multiplies.
No. Most days only one or two horses win, or none, and the day is a loss. You can see every one of those days on this page. The profit comes from the days when several land together, like 14 October.
Stakes are in points per line. Choose a points value you are comfortable losing on a quiet day and keep it the same. At £1 a point, a Lucky 31 costs £31 and a Lucky 15 costs £15.
