8th August 2017

Hi ,

Well we missed last week’s newsletter which was a shame really as the week before we nailed in a couple of winners at decent prices…

‘Musselburgh 3-45 Handicap (Class 6) 12f TRADITIONAL DANCER is lightly raced and open to plenty of improvement from a yard in good form at 11/4 I see that as saver material but the bet of the race has to be the biggest drop in class for JOHNNY DELTA 11/2 in places looks huge and the clock tells a story that this horse is clear of the field on ratings despite being 10yo’

A great run too from MYBOYHENRY who scooted in 3/1 advised looked a big price. The horse had been tipped by us in its previous race and ran no sort of race. That just goes to show how unpredictable these creatures are.

A few weeks ago we hinted to the possibility that on the main service we could see things changing and that was proven true with some really nice and welcome winners.

We were a little behind in July but pulled it out of the fire in the last 2 days with WENSLEY advised 8/1 small rule 4 winning and then banging in 20/1 SP REDARNA.
That returned a profit for July and more importantly refilled the account after a few flat months.

We have started August pretty well too with several winners including POLAR FOREST at 7/1advised and LONDINIUM 9/1 advised that won at Goodwood. We stand at 17.5% return on investment for the month.

THAT CERTAINLY BEATS INFLATION. NOT A BAD INVESTMENT!

Tuesday’s Horses in Focus

Catterick 2:45 Handicap (Class 6) 5f - HADLEY has to be the selection here the horse is at least consistent on the clock comes close to the top of our ratings on most counts and is fit 9/2 certainly represents a little value in a tough race.

Catterick 3:15 Handicap (Class 4) 14f - BULAS BELL makes some appeal but I thought at the price I would much rather be with BE PERFECT 13/2 both are course and distance winners and have decent chances but its all about value and Be offers that.

Catterick 3:45 Handicap (Class 6) 6f - ROBBIAN 25/1 with totesport is the one here we have a bit of information that the horse has been laid out for this race. He is a big price and should go close (of course that also means he may run bad too we are not wet around the ears) certainly worth a decent each way chance in a trappy race.

Catterick 5:15 Handicap (Class 6) 7f - REGAL DECREE 5/1 in places looks like a decent bet. Top on our ratings, fit and ready to win are the comments from connections who are on the horse today 5/1 looks like a real bargain from the confidence coming from the team. I’m not saying stick the rent money down though just be careful just because their money is on doesn’t mean the horse knows that.

Nottingham 7:05 Handicap (Class 5) 6f - A much better performance is on the cards from LANGANO the filly ran last in a stronger race at Doncaster but wasn’t in prime condition and didn’t get the ground to suit this is much easier at 11/2 with paddy power that looks a fair play.

Leicester 2:30 Handicap (Class 5) 6f - HARRISON STICKLE 20/1 in places is worthy of a small bet at his best he could go close but the price is unusually large because of a run too bad to be true last race it may prove me wrong but I am willing to forgive that especially with connections having reasons behind the performance.

Back Next Tuesday.

Best Wishes,

Matt
