Happy New year to all our members and blog followers. Well we finally close and reflect on a tough year! I’ve only had about a week’s break in the whole year! It was worth it though to deliver ANOTHER profitable year for our members. Over 200 points to 1 point bets is some feat and while it does seem like a drop from the year before our RETURN on investment still looks strong.
We had some tough times to get through especially in the summer, a time that is usually very fruitful we just couldn’t get our heads in front. Lots of factors have to come together to get a win and it just didn’t work out. Yet we have also had some great and historic moments this year ones that have changed people’s lives - like the guy who won £40,000 from our Epsom advice. Those memories will stay with us.
December really put us right this year with 80 points it made an average year pretty good. I did tell you all to get involved right at the start of December!
Our last HORSES IN FOCUS provided several winners SHEARIAN won at 6/1sp we wrote ‘12:30 SHEARIAN at 9/2 there are many a rumour flying around that the change in stables has livened this fella up. He looks very well at the moment and is bouncing at home he has been working hard and we should see that on the track today.’
The best piece of info we put out that day was TAUNTON 12:45 BEAU DU BRIZAIS is value at 4/1 and would be the selection in this race with the stable going well MIGHTY MISSILE is another over priced at 25/1 and could well out run those odds. The pair came 1st and 2nd making a 70/1 exacta!
Ok time to leave the past in the past. We have work to do this year to maintain ourselves as one of the best Services on BetFan and more importantly make money for our members.
Since then we had the KEMPTON SPECIAL we knew things weren’t going to go smoothly as MIGHT BITE crashed out when clear. Not a great endeavour but sometimes that’s just the way it goes when you play the percentages. However as you know we don’t like to cost people money so I asked BetFan if I could supply all those who signed up 30 days of High probability bets from a new service in proofing to allow all these clients to recover any losses they have suffered.
They agreed so these people have had two 3 point win bets win from 2 bets since boxing day(15/8 and 11/8) they will have bet 3 today. I hope these clients think no less of us and maybe BetFan will let us cover Cheltenham? I certainly won’t hold my breath haha.
IMPORTANT UNITY NEWS
This year we feel we have collected enough past horses to start to formulate some systems from our betting. It will allow us to find unprofitable trends in our betting and to maximise profitable trends. I hope this will lead to enhanced profits this year for all our members.
TUESDAY’S HORSES IN FOCUS
Bangor 1:15 PITHIVIER probably has more to come in this sphere. 15/8 is about the right price for the horse. One for the short list. CABRAH also comes out well on our ratings and must be seen as a danger 4/1 again is about the right price. The other horse that came out well on the stats was HORSECHESTNUT pulled up 15 days ago on heavy ground. This Good to soft should show the horse in a much better light. Currently 14/1 outsider of the field with Stan James I would be willing to forgive the last run for that kind of price. Not a race to get over involved in but we could have well named the first 2 home.
1:45 Many chances in this race with ON THE ROAD the horse for money. His chance could look more compelling depending what happens in the first race with CABRAGH. He comes out best on our speed ratings while Our stats prefer at much bigger prices VINEGAR HILL 10/1 widely available. I heard a bit of a rumour that CLANDAW DRAFT has been working well at home and still retains ability which would make him very interesting at 14/1.
3:20 ZERACHIEL 4/1 represents a little value in this race. The horse is improving and on our speed ratings comes out top with 2 solid performances that should see him go close today. A 5/2 chance when we priced up this race last night.
MUSSELBURGH 1:00 We were very keen on FATSOTAS chances when he was entered in a meeting lost to frost about a week ago. We are keen here too but it’s very hard to know just yet what the form was like in GOLDEN TOWNS race. That horse comes out well clear on our speed ratings and with any improvement could win this well. He beat STIPULATE last time who runs in the race before if stipulate wins well I would consider a big bet on GOLDEN TOWN. I would be keen to save on FATSOTA though.
1:30 GOLDEN INVESTMENT 7/2, PROUD GAMBLE 3/1 & REV UP RUBY 8/1 -These three come out best on the stats. I think the top horse represents some value that would be the selection. I just get the feeling that DONALD McCAIN is going to have a really good day today. He has sent out some nice rides and plenty of his come out statistically sound today. There is a chance it could be a ground breaking day for him. His stable are in form there could be money in those following him. I wouldn’t put anyone off multiples with his horses today. All each way though just for that extra level of safety.
2:00 I was quite surprised to see FINAL COUNTDOWN 11/1 come out so well at the stats that I have to take the horse seriously today 11/1 is a good price and it could well drift as the top of the market tightens. I like the fact Rebecca is is really good form too - Hopeful of a big run was the word we got.
2:30 SHOT OF WINE 11/8 is very strong on the signals up a notch in class he has a good speed rating too. The real clincher though is that I can’t see what could beat him without him improving.
NEWCASTLE 2:40 We have backed BURNSIDE a couple of times and he has another chance today yet is priced right which leaves us no room. Medicine hat Really didn’t like Southwell last time. Whispers are the stable have got WORDINESS spot on for today and they are looking for a big run while MERRIMENT makes up the shortlist. At 12/1 that’s the value so merriment e/w is the selection.
3:10 FASTNET BLAST was our nap when finishing 2nd dropping back to 10 was ideal and the horse should score today. 7/4 isn’t too exciting though yet is still a bit of value.
3:40 I am going to go with a wild punt here. Yes GOGEORGE GO AND BAMAKO deserve to be there in the betting. There is a horse at a huge price that could be worthy of a little investment ROCK A DOODLE DOO - Still has ability and has a positive jockey booking. It just looks very overpriced and may well run better than the odds 25/1 on the exchanges and could well be bigger later once the top consolidates.
4:10 MONTICELLO 7/2 looks a worthy play in this contest and certainly comes out best on the value front.
