Hi ,
Anyone following last week’s newsletter will have had a decent day as we landed a fair amount of winners like SHARIVARRY at 8/1 sp. The horse a 24 race maiden it does take a certain level of inside information to find selections like that. We also backed this horse on the main service and that lifted us to profit for the month.
DANECASE ran at Haydock. We did back him on the main service as the price was huge yet we did think connections had chosen the wrong race for him and we expressed this to our members on the day. I still think he will pop up at a big price in one of these galloping handicaps.
All in all it has been a steady month. Changeable weather hasn’t really helped much but it should settle down as we enter June typically one of our best months.
We will be stepping up the multiple bets a bit this month as we go in search of a long overdue big pot. We have hit plenty of them over the years and it would really put us strongly on the scene if it happened now as we are very close to our all-time highs. Despite a few flat months we simply haven’t lost any money which is a great result for us. We are still well up for the year and way ahead of last year to boot!
Let me go through today’s cards for you to give you an insight into our world and maybe pick out a few winners at big prices as well as some shorter ones too.
LINGFIELD Just one race that we like the look of here. The 6:20 pretty weak favourite in this race and in fact I am not convinced about any horse at the top of the market so I would be looking for a bigger price. SWISS CROSS is one that pops up at 16/1 or JUNGLE BAY could be another option.
Ok let’s look at the flat racing today. First it’s REDCAR 2:20 MIGHTASWELL SMILE at 6/1 is set to improve today the stable think that the step up to 6f will suit but of course the horse should be contesting races from 7f to 1m 2 furlongs in time.
2:50 DUSKY RAIDER at 7/1 would be my choice for the race but it is tough and FALCONS FIRE at 4/1 also makes appeal both horses should run well.
3:20 ROBERO 4/1 returning from a break the horse is said to be in good shape at home and is working well so we are looking forward to finding out how accurate this info is as I haven’t seen this horse work.
4:20 The favourite looks a little weak so I think I would choose from either BARSHIBA at 11/2 or LEXINGTON PLACE at 7/1 preference is for the first named and should be close enough.
4:50 WANEEN 5/1 was a horse we highlighted last time and ran a good 2nd he now switches to turf and should prove effective he should run a decent race again today.
5:20 REBEL RAISER is a decent price at 11/1 at those odds definitely worth a bet today I like this one quite a lot so I think I will give it the nap status.
Over at LEICESTER 2:00 is too tough to call there are plenty of chances at the top of the market and any could win.
2:30 RODELINI is strong in the market and is expected to win but 5/4 maybe a little prohibitive for us, at bigger odds AWAIT THE STORM should be tighter today and could run a big race at 20/1 with Paddy Power.
3:00 NASSUVIAN PEARL 8/1 looks the value play. I know the stable like this horse so today we are going to see if the promise can be fulfilled.
3:30 The market has this with JADAAYIL 2/1 while DUTCH DESTINY 6/1 also has a squeak. Two horses at much bigger prices are COMPANY ASSET 14/1 and SUNNARA 20/1 would have e/w chances.
4:00 SILVER SPRINGS at around 8/1 could have a chance today. The horse has been out of form but could bounce back today after showing a bit more at home.
4:30 BOLT PHANTOM ran a good 2nd and should go one better today we backed him last time and he showed a good attitude 3/1 looks fair.
5:00 We like the chances of COSMIC CHATTER today at around 8/1. Our members had this info last night.
5:30 FASTNET PRINCE at 14/1 with Ladbrokes would be a value play here the horse is fit and well and should go well today. Maybe even complete a double with SILVER SPRINGS.
