Hi ,

It was interesting to read that David Beckham was having a meal in an upmarket burger restaurant in Chelsea’s Kings Road when he spots a homeless guy outside on the pavement. He takes the chap out a burger and a beer and every daily paper is crowing that Beckham is a saint.

It reminds me of the story about Nick Faldo who is playing in a charity tournament when he keeps hearing his caddies shoe making a flapping noise as the sole had come loose. Nick turns to his caddie saying you need a new pair of trainers son and goes to his pocket and takes out a wad of notes held by a rubber band. The caddie thinking wow what a wonderful gesture then sees Faldo take the band off the wad and hands it to the caddie saying put that round the shoe to stop it flapping.

Now if you are talking about generosity listen to this one and it’s absolutely true. Some year ago Donald Trump was driving down a country road when his car had a blow out. As he was thinking about changing the punctured tyre a motorist pulls up and offers to help him get the car fixed and his wife gives Donald a sandwich while her husband changes the wheel.

Long story short when the couple go to pay their monthly mortgage they are told their entire mortgage has been paid off and they now own their property outright. Now you might not hear that story in the British media but it is true.

Right back to business Fold4Gold is still high in the Betfan tipster table at No.2 and its been a cracking week for the Eye-Catchers at long last with Repeater winning at the Curragh at 16/1 and John Reel at Newmarket at 20/1 which is good to see after so many near misses.

We are still working on my new revolutionary service but if I told you that if the first selection of the week makes a profit it’s virtually impossible not to have a profitable month would that spark your interest?

Today’s racing is rather mundane but one worth a little each way for Howies Hottie is Pushkins Museum in the 3.05 Hamilton. It’s owned by the good doctor Marwan Koukash and trained by Richard Fahey and this pair have been very lucky over the years.

The gelding ran well at Musselburgh on ground softer than ideal and as long as the rain stays away he should be in the mix.

HOT HANDICAPPERS

FLAT

Onorina trainer J.Boyle - Disqualified at Lingfield the mare is still on a good mark to gain compensation next time.

Duke of North trainer J.Boyle - Finished with a flourish last time and still looks well handicapped.

Curzon Line trainer M.Easterby - A good winner last time this gelding is very well in at the weights and could run up a sequence.

Berkshire trainer P.Cole - The horse is a giant and although last at Goodwood last week if they can get the animal anywhere near his best this season this monster can win in the highest grade.

Back next Wednesday be lucky.
