Hello, It has been a wonderful week here at Unity Racing Club. We have gained almost 10 points this week with a ROI of around 63% and 28% strike rate. The last couple of days has seen us have 2 bets and 2 winners Gaelic Myth backed at 7/1 (rule 4) and Orby’s Man backed at 11/4 the evening before racing landed a huge gamble sent off at 11/8 and winning by 6l.
We did tell you last week that May usually signals the return to better things for us. We usually have to come from well off the pace to get ahead yet this year we are right by our all-time high so we should be breaking new ground very soon!
Almost 80 points up this year so far and to very small proofing stakes.
With results like these we have made our members a lot of money over the past 2 years but we haven’t finished yet. We are now getting to the stage that our information can move markets. That means soon places may only be available when someone drops out.
No joke if our results continue there will not be many that do so places on this service may well become like rocking horse poo.
Sorry for that but we have a duty to make sure the members who have been with us longest are protected to get a price that keeps the system profitable.

Something a little different today rather than give you horses to follow I am going to share with you a little daily report for today’s racing it may help you with your own selections or if you are going to the races you may find snippets highlighting horses to back. You also may choose to ignore it all together which is fine there are no wrong or right ways to bet there is only profitable and unprofitable. We hope you enjoy it anyway!
BEVERLEY 2:00 Plenty of money here for the David Barron horse LA ASOMADA runs off a nice low weight. The horse has the best speed ratings in the race and has shown the best form. I hate short horses at Beverley though but I can’t see much else. Arguably the value in the race is the Dandy man filly KSENIA at 14/1 it’s a leap of faith as she hasn’t shown much and is wrong at the weights but 5/4 against the favourite has little appeal. Roaring Rory and Pilgrims Path have some kind of chance and one that wouldn’t be a million miles away if coming in to form would be Mary E.
2:30 Again all the money is for the favorite which makes it look tough to bet. ORWEA is 6/4 running against plenty of newbies from top stables. Both BOOK OF PLENTY AND CARSON CITY come from good families yet, there is not the money down you would expect for one of these 2 to make a winning debut – maybe it will come later? The only other horse I could back is Ray Donovan @ 10/1 he looks the value pick and is going well at home.
3:00 WINDFORPOWER is the selection here a decent 3rd last time and the horse is running into form at 13/2 with Paddy Power at the time of writing. I like this 10 time winner and with rain looming I’m pleased the horse goes on any ground. I can see plenty of winners coming from that 16 runner race the horse contested at Thirsk.
3:30 COUNT MONTECRISTO has got Middleham Park members splashing the betting cash my experience says that 3/1 is a little skinny yet it would also be folly to bet against this horse.
4:00 It’s hard to bet against or with odds on fav Fawaareq it’s not a price I could take or could I advise you to take but it is very strong in the market and should go in. Yet I say again that over the years most short horses I’ve backed that have been beaten are at tracks like this one.
4:30 A Tough race. I quite like both THE MAJOR and LIKE NO OTHER. Interesting to see a bit of money for both but it’s the latter I would go for. LES EYRE has his string in good form and likes a little gamble so like no other is the selection with The Major a small saver.
CHEPSTOW 5:55 I quite like COURSE CUT here 14/1 widely available looks like decent value on the horse that is improving at home and is expected to run a decent race here it is a tough race though with REGAL MONACH and TENZING NORGAY also worthy of a mention.
7:25 The selection here is THE SALMON MAN – we upgraded his last performance and think he has a great chance today. The stable think he has improved for the run and has tightened up his muscles. They are expecting a big run again today @ 4/1 with William Hill it’s not a huge price but does appeal as the winner.
7:55 BONJOUR STEVE is the one for us here connections are on today and they think the horse is bouncing at home. I’m happy to bet this guy at 13/2 with Will Hill.
SEDGEFIELD 3:20 Brian Ellison is in reasonable form and his DOWN TIME 7/2 should be up to winning this. The horse has had a little break to freshen him up and should be there about at the business end.
3:50 MARCUS ANTONIUS @ 9/2 is the token selection in the race but there is plenty to fear from the likes of MRS GRASS who has run back to form and likes the spring time.
4:20 SCORPIONS STING @ 9/2 is the selection for this race. The horse goes well fresh and is in good form at home. I know connections will be disappointed if the horse isn’t in front at the finish, or at least very close!
Not much to discuss at either Wincanton or Southwell today, so we will leave those horrible looking cards alone. Hope you find this report of interest.
