Sunday's FREE Tip Is Ready...

6th September 2015

Hi ,

The Don has head north for York today and is staying up North for a full seven days to cover the Full St Leger meeting which is a Festival and a Marathon all rolled into one.

In the past two weeks I've banged in winners at 50/1, 12/1 and 10/1 and though you may not have seen it, it's happened so I'm going in there confident and ready to land some big priced gambles. If you want to back Faves at Donny all week, good luck and all the best. I'm looking for punters who play the long game and I think we could well have a very tasty week up North.

But before that your intrepid Sunday Columnist has that rare and beautiful thing to write about, not Simon Holden's suits or an Andy Bell story that isn't boring but quality Flat racing in England.

Yes the BHA planning department have gone rougue and allowed York to stage a high quality flat card on a Sunday. Shocking I Know surely three pathetic small field Sunday Jumps meetings was the way to go today but hey here we are.

Of course the fact that there will be a huge crowd today and big betting turnover does rather ruin their argument for not staging better Sunday Flat Racing but I can't see a turnaround in their thinking any time soon.

If you've never been to this informal family day at York and you are in the area it's well worth a visit and though relaxed it's still a very high quality race meeting.

Our Sunday cracker is a young sprinter who we bet last time in a Group 3 in Ireland Fort Del Oro and he runs in the 3.00 today. Edward Lynam is brilliant with sprinters and this horse works well with Group 1 horses. He is improving fast and can dish out a pasting to his rivals today and hopefully load up our Donny piggy bank. Take the 2/1 with Paddy Power as I think he will be walloped on track this afternoon.

Have a great Sunday, join me in time for Doncaster and lets bet some big priced horses together.

Trust in the Don he is still number one!

Back next Sunday.
