Wednesday's FREE Tip Is Ready...

2nd September 2015

Hi ,

Lambourn is about to give birth to one of the most unusual projects in horse racing with a £6.5 million scheme for preparing young race horses that will revolutionise training.

The inventor of the system Mehmet Kurt believes it will eliminate breakdowns in young animals by strengthening muscles and bones.

The prototype was developed on Kurts farm in Turkey using more than a 1,000 horses. Horses are harnessed within what looks like a rollercoaster, running along an overhead rail which can monitor their heart rate and breathing as they run at varying speeds on a mile round track.

Kurt has invested over 30 million in total on his brainchild and although some are sceptical I'm sure he will have a waiting list if one of his young horses wins the 2017 Brocklesby Stakes.

I don't think todays racing looks that exciting and for Howies Hottie I'm going to chance my arm over the sticks at Southwell in the 4.10 a 2 mile 4 furlong handicap hurdle. The selection is Songsmith who has been in good form on the flat and reverts to hurdles on a decent mark. As long as the rain stays away he should be right in the mix.

EYE-CATCHERS

FLAT

Pivotman trainer M.Easterby - Running well and seems just a matter of time before they find the right opening for him.

Rex Imperator trainer D.Omeara - Denied a clear run when making his challenge this well handicapped individual looks poised to strike.

Alben Star trainer R.Fahey - Noted staying on at Beverley the gelding will improve for the run after time off the track.

Fox Trotter trainer B.Meehan - I'm not sure he liked the sticky ground at Goodwood so don't give up on him yet.

Hookergate Grammar trainer K.Reveley - This maiden was staying on at one pace and it's possible a stronger run race or longer trip is needed.

Back next Wednesday have a good week and be lucky.

Howard Davis-Shaw.
