15th April 2015

Hi %%First Name%%,

I think I should start off with congratulations to Many Clouds, Oliver Sherwood, Leighton Aspell and Mr Blackpool himself owner Trevor Hemmings for all playing a part in producing probably the best National winner since Red Rum.

For a horse to win the Henessy back in November and then to win the worlds greatest race in April is a superb achievement. Also the ride Leighton gave the horse was a joy to watch. I bet you never knew he is the only jockey to have his own official fan club as in his early riding days he only had slow horses to ride and punters used to have pops at him talking through their pockets. So a few racegoers with knowledge set up the club and Leighton now has thousands of followers.

Now the biggest highlight of my week was my tipping service Fold4Gold picking three juicy winners at advised prices, two at 4/1 and one at 9/1 giving a 250/1 treble.

We nearly added a fourth winner which would have made over 3,000 points profit on the day.

However Fold4Gold sits proudly on top of the Betfan tipping table with 322 points profit so far this month. We are 182 points clear of the 2nd place service meaning that our fellow tipsters are going to need a bloody miracle to catch us.

Regular readers will know that Fold4Gold have been top of the table on numerous occasions and at one time made 800 points profit on a small placepot wager.

You will also be aware this is one of Betfan's cheapest services at under 20 quid a month so come and get back on the money train for the flat season before the joining fee sky rockets.

A quick update on my new 80/20 Superbets is that March finished in profit and April is now in the black thanks to Monbeg Dude running 3rd in the National paying 16/1 in the place market. The interesting thing is we made 55 points profit on the National without finding the winner.

As I have told you it's 21st century betting so come and join the revolution and don't get stuck in the past and I will teach you how to profit even when you can't find a winner.

The flat season really gets into full swing today with the Newmarket Spring meeting especially with a number of Classic trials. I was always taught this time of year is not just about punting but monitoring horses for the future.

Moving on to Howies Hottie I'm going for Surewecan in the 5.40 Newmarket a 6 furlong handicap which looks pretty competitive. The Mark Johnson horse did nothing in Meydan earlier this year but ran well last time out on the Kempton polytrack.

Today he reverts down in trip which I know will suit and he will also have a fitness advantage over most of his rivals. So at what could be a decent price we might have some each way value.

EYECATCHERS

FLAT

Rorigo De Torres trainer F.Watson - He ran a solid race at Redcar when not well away and considering he likes to front run it should be upgraded.

Solstalla trainer W.Jarvis - As low start and a wide draw made life difficult for her she still ran a solid race at Nottingham. Better ground and maybe a slight drop in trip could help.

Outback Ruler trainer C.Cox - A slow starter last time out and then never getting a clear run he had to be switched to the outside and was noted making strong late progress.

Fort Belvedere trainer M.Hammond - The gelding needed his seasonal debut but still ran a promising race and should be a lot fitter next time.

Harry Boch trainer Julia Fielden - I was told he needed his race on Monday and is another who will be straighter next time. He was bought recently by new connections to run mainly at Windsor where he has won in the past. He is on a very competitive mark so should be competitive when he runs. The gelding is especially effective when getting an uncontested lead.

Back next Wednesday have a good week and be lucky.

Howard Davis-Shaw.
