United Can Beat Tottenham At Old Trafford

There is a full schedule of fixtures in the Premier League and then we have an international break. It’s less than two months since England’s World Cup campaign ended but the next two year cycle soon begins. The semi-finals and final of the European Championships are being played at Wembley so England have a great chance of winning a title. After the Premier League matches last weekend LIVERPOOL are the league leaders and 11/4 with William Hill to be the champions of England.

That would not be good news for Manchester United fans especially as the club appears to be in disarray. Despite a poor performance and defeat at Brighton its very early days and a home win against Tottenham tonight could take United in to the top six. They were missing some important players at Brighton and the result could be written off as a bad day at the office. MANCHESTER UNITED are 7/5 with Ladbrokes to beat Tottenham at Old Trafford.

Even though it’s the end of August England still have two Test matches to play against India, in Southampton and at the Oval. England won the first two five day matches but lost by 203 runs in the Third Test. Despite the return of Ben Stokes there has been a momentum swing and the England batting collapsed in the most recent fixture. INDIA are 9/5 with Betfair to win the Fourth Test.

The top 100 players have progressed to the Dell Technologies Championship which is the second of four FedEx Cup tournaments. The event runs from Friday to Monday to coincide with the Labor Day holiday in the United States on the first day of next week. Once the FedEx Cup is done and dusted the focus will shift to the Ryder Cup for which EUROPE are 11/10 with Paddy Power.

The York Ebor meeting is a difficult act to follow and there is something of a lull in proceedings before the big autumn Flat races. There isn’t a Group 1 race this week but there are two Group 3 contests at Sandown on Saturday but its generally ordinary fare. Cartmel is the richest meeting today and the highlight is a handicap chase over two miles one and a half furlongs at 3.15. The form pick is WELLS DE LUNE and the horse is 7/4 with bet365 to win the race.
