Bet World Reviews Newsletter for

31st October 2017

Hi

Welcome to the very first official Bet World Reviews Newsletter!

THE GOOD NEWS……..

I suspect that most reading this are proper punters. By that I mean you have a method or plan for how you place your bets rather than just diving in willy nilly to any opportunity for gambling that presents itself.

In which case the excellent news today that the government is going to reduce the limits for stakes on Fixed Odds Betting Terminals will probably not directly affect you but even so you should rejoice as it is the start of the imposition of proper values on an industry that has until now considered itself untouchable. Originally seen as an easy way of raising some cash by dear old Gordon the politicians have at last woken up to the potential harm that may be done to society.

The underlying issue here is problem gambling and predictably the industry claims that the terminals do not really have an effect on this – their spokesman today glibly suggesting that all that would happen is the problem would move elsewhere if stakes are reduced and if that argument does not work they would then have to close many of the high street shops and so incur job losses. Fortunately the interview was conducted by Charlie State who does not suffer fools gladly and was able to emphasise the shortcomings in the arguments presented.

But you can help too – the industry will try to maximise the stake level possible so counter pressure is needed to keep things in check. Take 5 minutes to email your MP spelling out your views on the subject and asking for as low a limit as possible. All MPs can easily be contacted by email – just use this link to get the address. By doing this you can contribute to reducing the number of people who become what are termed problem gamblers. It is also in your interests in the long term as you want to continue to enjoy the benefits of being able to pursue your ambitions with a strong market place that allows sensible betting.

A victim of the current situation was also interviewed and made the point that the industry is effectively grooming people to be come addicted by making offers of apparently free cash but which cannot be accessed until you have played through an unreasonably large multiple of your initial deposit. By which time you could be well and truly hooked. Another example of the industry playing lip service to the principles but doing something completely different.

He also stressed that those with a problem need to talk to potential helpers sooner rather than later. There are organisations that will help – you can find links for many of these on our resources page. If you have not seen it this article by Victoria Cohen Mitchell you may just find it illuminating.

AND THE BAD…..

If you have bought any sort of betting service or product in the past the chances are you are on an email list somewhere and so likely to get advice of more “opportunities” at regular intervals. Many of the publishers are professional in their approach and would not pass your name on to others at any price but sadly this is not always the case.

Over the years I have been looking at services a publisher under the umbrella title of Circle Media gained a reputation for both poor product promotion appalling customer service and passing on email addresses to other marketing companies. They operated from 2 main centres, Bolton and Nottingham and the midlands crew were particularly quick to let you know the latest best thing. These are some of the addresses they used:

123 Loughborough Road,

Unit 37 Lenton Business Centre

301 Wigman Road

91-96 Radcliffe Road

26 Carter Gate

Mercifully they have been very quiet for a couple of years but in the last 10 days I have started to receive a whole load of emails from these sources so it appears that they are running out of cash and need to generate some more income. The emails I have been getting are not from names that I have even bought from in the past and so yet again my personal details have been passed to another without my permission. Included in the new list of promoters are such names as

Racer Sharp Selections

Billys Bets

Edge on Points

Limitless Bets

Racing Freebies

Five Star Tapout

A typical email reads thus

Hey P,
Today I want to share a video presentation that teaches you how you can generate the easiest automated income using this pioneering betting software.
However, the developers behind it have only made available a specific number of licenses, and it will just be available for the next few days.

To your future profits,
Racer Sharp Selections

I have removed the link but it was offering a typical non verified service – for example ProRaceConsultants a laughable offer where some guys apparently have 4000 happy members but now want to take in just 50 more on their website which was established in October 2017! Of course there are no results detailed and a request for these has been ignored.  If you look at the Clickbank Market place you will see this service is promoted with the suggestion that sellers should “get in now while it’s hot”.

So take care when you receive these offers – if you do not recognise the source then the best plan is to trash then without even opening them. You are unlikely to miss out of a genuine service and as part of my routine is to check out the products on offer I will add a review where there is a chance of success.

Do let me know of any services or systems that you think are worthy of a review – even with my wide range of providers I am unlikely to see them all! Just email me on [email protected] or add a request on the Members Forum

That’s all for now – until the next time take care
