18th July 2017

Hi ,

MISHAAL really wasn’t far away last week at a huge 25/1 that would have made for a great day. Edgar Allan Poe won again with something to spare at 7/2 that price looked like value as he hacked up.

I have got back late from the gallops this morning as there was a horse going in the 2nd lot I really wanted to see run today. I will tell you all about the horse next week in this horses in focus. For now though let’s get on with the job of picking a few winners out for you today.

Tuesday’s Horses In Focus

Bath 3:00 Handicap (Class 5) 5f - DIAMONG PURSUIT 12/1 is taking a huge drop in class and hasn’t been disgraced in stronger company. The stable think a lot of this one and a class 5 race should be well within the horse. 12/1 looks like a steal there will be a strong challenge from June Dog but I can’t ignore 12/1 it looks a bargain win, lose or draw.

Bath 4:00 Handicap (Class 5) 5f - BABYFACT at 4/1 looks a value pick I can see a few others that have good chances but the market has surely found them. Outsider EMJAYEM 16/1 and forgotten by the market. I know last race they were really expecting a much better run from the horse. Things didn’t go right that day but he could bounce back. They do think there is still wins left in the horse.

Beverley 2:15 Stakes (Class 5) 5f - JOHNI BOXIT made the best start according to the clock if the horse has improved then 16/1 would look a huge price. I’m surprised the price makes him the outsider. Another horse that has to be worth a bet is MAGIC SHIP 14/1 with Will Hill looks pretty tasty to me the horse is doing well at home but is still a little light framed. Pretty well bred though and has every chance if it can convert its work on the gallops to the race course.

Beverley 2:45 Stakes (Class 5) 5f - None of the few that have run have done much on the clock so we look at a small piece of info from a gambling stable that say they think they have a decent chance of taking this race with the horse. AISLIN MOON 8/1 looks very fair but be quick cos it won’t last long.

Beverley 3:45 Handicap (Class 4) 16f - This race should really suit THE BLUES MASTER at 7/2 he likes the track and should relish the return to turf Waterclock should be there abouts and Corpus chorister would make up the 123.

Beverley 4:15 Handicap (Class 5) 7f - RELIGHT MY FIRE at 20/1 for an inform stable with an inform jockey at a track the horse has won at before that to me makes for a solid each way bet. Keepup Kevin also looks a little over priced at 10/1.

Beverley 4:45 Handicap (Class 4) 8f - BIG TIME DANCER 9/2 would be the value pick for the race he should get an easy lead and could well make all he will be cherry ripe for this this race after blowing off the cobwebs last time.

Beverley 5:15 Handicap (Class 6) 10f - A couple in here we have backed before BOLLIN TED should go well but may need softer ground to perform. KILBAHA LADY has a decent chance as well at a reasonable price but the one that catch’s our eye would be KNIGHTSBRIDGE LIAM 11/1 looks fair to me.

Thirsk 8:10 Handicap (Class 5) 7f - ROSY RYAN 5/1 deserves to land a victory she has been very consistent and today may be the day 5/1 is big enough to get involved. I think it looks on paper like we could be in for a really good day today so I will be having a few multiple bets on the horses highlighted with a view of landing a big jackpot. Of course the odds of that happening are huge but we have done it before and we are well over due a large winning sequence, today could be that day!

Back Next Tuesday.

Best Wishes,

Matt
