Royal Ascot was as always tough as boots. We did pretty well not to lose our shirt! We had to bet each way on many horses such as the nature of the Festival. We went close with so many big price horses and had great runs at prices up to 66/1. Only on the last day did the winners start flowing though. Overall just a really enjoyable week of racing that was topped off in the last few days with consistent winners and a nice side bet for our clients that pointed the way to a lucrative SILVESTRE DE SOUSA 4 timer.

Tuesday’s Horses In Focus
Beverley 2:00 I really liked the favourite here Rampant Lion. Should improve now up in distance and to be honest wouldn’t need to improve on our ratings. The only negative is now the ground the forecast fast ground would have been great as his sire had a much better record on fast. If it’s raining at Beverley like it is where I am then heavy ground may be the call. That could spring a surprise. If a surprise is to come then POETS DAWN 11/1 or DUKE OF FREEDOM 14/1 (which is a horse to look out for in the future) may figure.
2:30 We had a strong piece of information last night on a horse in this race. The information stated that this horse should leave past form behind today. Going really well at home connections will be shocked if this one gets beaten. (sign up today to get this special information right now).

3:00 The favourite looks a little short to me at 15/8 I had the horse priced up at 3/1. There are a few challengers LEAN ON PETE ran a decent time for the grade last time out and TRED SOFTLEY is by Yeats and that stamina may come into play.
3:30 I like DESERT WAY here we selected the horse last race and got beaten by a horse that was a winner in waiting. Only 6 runs I think this filly may still be improving and 6/1 is a fair price.
4:00 I think the 2 to concentrate on here are the Tim Easterby pair DOCTOR DYNAMITE around 7/1 he may need the run today but his last run a year ago was behind a decent sort a reproduction anywhere near that should see him clear at the business end today. BOLLIN TED also has a big shout is race fit and will love the conditions. 11/1.
Brighton 2:45 Another strong piece of info should see our horse here go really close at a working man’s price. This horse has been primed to win.
3:15 PEKING FLYER 11/2 looks very much like a plot horse and this is the target. The money will come later. The horse has shown steady improvement and the last run looked very much like a testing the water kind of run. I think the horse has a good chance today from bottom of the weights.
