Hi ,

It’s the big countdown to the Aintree Grand National with three days of top class national hunt racing starting today with the weather mainly staying dry but on the cool side with the ground starting the week on the easy side of good on day one.

This years race looks wide open with 10/1 the field I have backed Definitly Red anti post at 20/1 and I see it’s now trading at around 12/1 a big run looks on the card.

Unowhatimeanharry will go off a short price favourite for the Ryanair Stayers Liverpool Hurdle on Saturday and with a clear round should go very close.

The Frankel colt Dream Castle is now 20/1 for the 2,000 Guineas after making a winning debut at Doncaster on Sunday (put up as a max bet at 11/10 early in the morning) the colt looks a horse to keep on your side this season.

It will not be long before the Colonel is back in the press room at Newmarket with the Craven meeting just three weeks away I can not wait to get back to HQ to get all the stable info for my members of my private service.

Look out for Face The Facts at Leicester on Friday in 1m4f Mdn my Newmarket mole tells me it’s very smart.

Back next Thursday.
