14th March 2017

Hi ,

Wow I cannot believe its been a whole year and we are now back at Cheltenham again.

We provide our tips to help people grow their banks and have a better way of life so it’s just so pleasing that everyone who joined at the start of the year have been paid and paid and paid again. I feel we have really delivered on promises made and will continue to do so and improve. You should really get involved if you are not already!

Great advice on our newsletter last week with winners like FORT CARSON at 11/2 and SHOWBOATING at 9/1 this is what we said… “4:50 FORT CARSON is back from a freshener and he is going well at home. He is a horse that can run well fresh so 13/2 looks a reasonable price from his inform stable. 3:30 Tough race this it’s very competitive but sometimes that can mean getting a really good price SHOWBOATING will like the return to this surface and must have a big chance today 9/1 looks fair.”

Yet another profit from our Tuesday selections. If you are not a member already then today would be a good day to join as my members will get a horses in focus newsletter every day of the festival with all our thoughts and bets.

TUESDAY’s HORSES IN FOCUS AT CHELTENHAM

13:30 Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle (Grade 1) (4yo+, Class 1, 2m 87y, 14 runners) With both MELON and BALLY ANDY being very well supported in the offices there is very little value about either. BUNK OFF EARLY must enter calculations with a strong run in Leopardstown in a race that usually works out well as a trial for this race 7/1 looks fair. CRACK MOME also may represent a little value around 10/1.

14:10 Racing Post Arkle Challenge Trophy Novices' Chase (Grade 1) (5yo+, Class 1, 1m 7f 199y, 9 runners). One of our horses to follow runs today in this race CHARBEL was put out by us before the season started. The horse was bought to run at Cheltenham. According to our ratings he has improved with every run a considerable amount and his improvement should be apparent today. I do like the horse but will he beat ALTIHOR? It would be a tough task on ratings or on our speed clock. 11/4 w/o the favourite is fair or 12/1 each way. I am going to stick with him though.

THREE STARS at 100/1 is overpriced his best form could see him get a place we have a speed rating a few runs ago that if he ran to that would have some kind of chance.

14:50 Ultima Handicap Chase (Grade 3) (5yo+, Class 1, 3m 1f, 24 runners). I do love a big handicap yes the chances of winning are slim but on the times that it does work out the prices can be very rewarding. Remember DARNA last year that won at 33/1 for us and really dug us out of a hole! GO CONQUER 22/1 looks good value for an each way punt. Also I am going to give a bit of a shout to JUNCTION FOURTEEN 40/1 widely available I thought his run at Ascot was quite good and Emma thinks she has him right today. You never know until they run. Another to mention is VINTAGE CLOUDS 33/1 for the Sue Smith stable he has improved a ton this season and may be well weighted.

15:30 Stan James Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy (Grade 1) (4yo+, Class 1, 2m 87y, 12 runners). YANWORTH was on my horses to follow list and we tipped him pre-season to win the champion hurdle it’s a race I have always been a big fan of. 11/4 isn’t a huge price considering the opposition. There are plenty of challengers at the top of the market. FOOTPAD is huge price at 18/1 and may be some each way value after his 1L defeat by Petit. I feel YANWORTH must jump better today if he is to win.

16:10 OLBG Mares' Hurdle (Grade 1) (Registered As The David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle) (4yo+, Class 1, 2m 3f 200y, 18 runners). With 2 short priced horses from the Mullins team I simply have to look elsewhere although the market makes it a match between vroom vroom mag and limini I simply can’t have either at the prices that are offered. APPLES JADE 9/2 looks a better option and wasn’t far behind limini last run.

It’s a very strange race on our speed figures which showed that it should be pretty close at the business end and there are even a few horses at huge prices that may run big races. A form line that looks over looked includes LIFEBOAT MONA 18/1, BRIERY QUEEN 50/1 and DEBDEBDEB 150/1. They all could be worth an each way punt.

16:50 JT McNamara National Hunt Challenge Cup Amateur Riders' Novices' Chase (Grade 2) (5yo+, Class 1, 3m 7f 170y, 18 runners). Not a race to get over involved in but my studies led me to 2 horses at decent prices. TIGER ROLL 16/1 and ARBREDEVIE 20/1 both look to have sound each way chances and both are also overpriced.

17:30 Close Brothers Novices' Handicap Chase (Listed) (5yo+, Class 1, 2m 4f 78y, 20 runners). Another horse to follow runs here TULLY EAST 12/1 again we tipped pre-season and the horse has kept on improving. TWO TAFFS 10/1 must have some kind of chance too. I am interested to see how CAPTAIN REDBEARD gets on at 20/1 they always thought a lot of this fella and today should tell them what they have on their hands.

Well I hope you have a great day today whatever you back. We will be back next Tuesday with more horses in focus.

Back Next Tuesday.

Best Wishes,

Matt
