After a great start to the year we hit a slight pull back for the first week of March. It’s not really a drama though. It’s not the first time and it definitely won’t be the last. Sometimes in this game you just need a little luck and the last week we haven’t had much.
All that could well change today as we have some cracking bets lined up on our main service.
Just to demonstrate how tough this game is we backed a horse called LADY LYDIA at 11/2 after connections thought she would go well. She didn’t! That’s for sure connections thought they had overestimated what she was doing at home. Entered yesterday connections were cold about her chances and the horse ran really well going away at the finish at 20/1! They were right first time. Although frustrating for all some times that is just the way racing goes.

I feel we have really delivered on promises made and will continue to do so and improve. You should really get involved if you are not already!
Last week our horses in focus had a really good day too with some big winners. We advised 4 bets and had 2 winners. HOLD FIRM at 13/2 advised we said (4:30 HOLD FIRM’S stable are running into form and this horse must be on the short list at 13/2 the price looks a bit of value and that makes this horse the selection). BANDITRY at 7/2 advised we said (3:00 BANDITRY 7/2 is arguably the value of the race his stable are in great form and he should go close today).
TUESDAY’S HORSES IN FOCUS
Things look pretty good from a value stand point and there are many horses to flag up today so lets get straight into the juicy stuff. The Free info we send every Tuesday is really top class with a consistent stream of winners. Just another way we like to give something back.
EXETER 2:20 SMOKING DIXIE looks interesting on handicap debut 4/1 is a fair price he should leave his form far behind now handicapping with his mark looking generous to me. MIDNIGHT REQUEST should give him a race.
2:50 Nothing that has run should be any kind of match for CARNSPINDLE 1/2 HERE ALL ALONG ran well in a point last time and looked a good prospect for the future 7/1 looks a bit of each way value.
4:50 FORT CARSON is back from a freshener and he is going well at home. He is a horse that can run well fresh so 13/2 looks a reasonable price from his inform stable.
NEWCASTLE 3:10 There is no stopping BRIAN HUGHES this season. He rides the northern courses really well and he may strike here with CATCHING SHADOWS 11/4 widely available the speed ratings show that the horse could be a 2/1 shot. So there is a little value there too.
4:40 LE FRANK is very well bred and will make into a decent chaser in time. 11/4 here to kick start his career looks worth a punt but whatever happens today this is a horse to keep an eye on for the future he could be a star.
SOUTHWELL 2:00 Well CROSSFIRE has his easiest chance to win he has had for a while 5/2 reflects this though there are 2 interesting runners at larger prices REDSTRIPES 12/1 we had info on this horse last run where they were expecting a better show and POWERFUL WIND 10/1 was tipped to us as a horse to watch out for but was a non-runner last time it was entered he may also do better today.
3:00 KATIE GALE is priced about right but should go close not sure I would want anything else for the race.
3:30 Tough race this it’s very competitive but sometimes that can mean getting a really good price. SHOWBOATING will like the return to this surface and must have a big chance today 9/1 looks fair. I hear that MICK APPLEBY’s stable prefer the larger priced RED TOUCH 14/1 over PLAY TO THE WHISTLE at 12/1. Although for us the latter named is top of our speed ratings so I would have to give both a big chance of making the frame and LONDON may not like the surface but has coped on yielding turf very well bred and looks over priced at 14/1.
4:00 It could be the day for TASAABOQ who runs well more often than not 7/2 is a bit short though for a horse that can come up short.
4:30 BOROUGH BOY is the interesting one here 4/1 isn’t a bad price for a horse that is more than capable on a going day.
