We were top tipster back in 2014, in the top 10 in 2015 and so far we are there again in 2016. The biggest change over the years has been the switch to staking to 1 point to be fairer on clients that may sign up just before a losing run.

We were proud to be asked to write and tip for the Kempton Special on Boxing Day and the 27th December. Last Tuesday’s HORSES IN FOCUS highlighted some great winners SOUPY SOUPS won 7/1 advised won again since, MASTER OF IRONY won well at 9/4 advised as well as advising a rev forecast with the horse that came second!
They were good wins but the real gold was our advice in the 1:20 at Catterick do you remember -
“1:20 SUE SMITH holds a good hand in this race with VINTAGE CLOUDS 6/4 could look a big price in hindsight however it’s her other horse DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR at 12/1 that we like. The horse has improved in the last few runs and is moving forward strongly at the moment, he will need to improve again to win this.”
Yes while the money poured in on VINTAGE CLOUDS and most tipsters were napping this fella we felt the more progressive horse DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR who is a huge tank of a horse he very much reminds me of the legendary DENMAN (in physique at least) well he did win and stable mate VINTAGE CLOUDS who beat him last time came 2nd but again well clear. Both horses will go on to better things if they stay sound she has 2 great horses on her hands.
TUESDAY’S HORSES IN FOCUS
KEMPTON 2:10 FASTNET BLAST could be an improving 3yo who should like the course according to his trainer. He couldn’t sustain his effort up to 12 furlongs last time but back in trip he has to be a treat today 11/2 with bet365 is big enough for some margin.
2:40 Far too many chances in this race and I can make a case for many of them. It will be a close finish on paper but who the winner will be I could only guess.
3:10 DANCING BREEZE around 9/4 looks the way to go although un raced there have been some favourable reports coming back from the gallops. I’ve not seen the horse myself though so I couldn’t advise a huge bet but she should be good enough.
3:40 The Gosden horse in this is rather short running against NIGHT POETRY at 4/1 is the value against the favourite. Connections of FLIGHT OF FANTASY are hoping for a big run after showing more at work recently 16/1 with Ladbrokes at the time of writing is a rather juicy price. I would think e/w would be the way to go in a race with many dangers and many horses I know nothing about.
4:10 I suppose AFRICAN BEAT will be a banker for many but I could only play him as a saver bet because of the lack of value 2/1 would be a fair price so 5/4 is pretty hard to get my head around. QUOTHQUAN 14/1 looks over priced because of the strength of the favourite and may get a place. I am surprised to see SUFFRAGETTE CITY at 20/1 I thought the form of the last race was solid enough there is enough in the prices to get involved.
SOUTHWELL 12:00 I remember tipping CAPITAL GEARING a few runs ago and although he let us down the 3yo has dropped to a winnable mark 18/1 looks huge if he can handle the surface he should go well.
12:30 SHEARIAN at 9/2 there are many a rumour flying around that the change in stables has livened this fella up. He looks very well at the moment and is bouncing at home he has been working hard and we should see that on the track today.
1:00 All I can think in this race is I want to cover CROSSE FIRE as we had info on this horse last week but he blew the start and chucked the race away in the process. He did get a nice run out though and may have sharpened him up. 7/1 is only just big enough and doesn’t leave much. Lets hope he gets away well.
2:30 ZAEEM is a horse we have backed before and looks worth a punt at 10/1 returning to the surface for the first time in nearly a year he should go really well. MITHQAAL is a real danger though and we have good reports on that one. In fact MICK APPLEBY could have a good day with his runners turning the corner at home since the change in stables they have taken a while to find form but there could be something in keeping him onside especially at Southwell.
TAUNTON 12:45 BEAU DU BRIZAIS is value at 4/1 and would be a token selection in this race with the stable going well MIGHTY MISSILE is another over priced at 25/1 and could well out run those odds.
