Hi ,

On Friday we have the World Cup Qualifier where England play Scotland which could be a very interesting game. This is a game that Gareth Southgate must be looking to win if he is to land the managers job on a permanent basis.

You would think on all known form and rankings it would be a stroll in the park for England however when the Tartan Army play the Sassenachs they raise their game to a whole new level. It’s a game I would not like to call but if I did have a bet it would be on over 2.5 goals.

This afternoon I’m off to the dogs at Hove Stadium where my girlfriends greyhound Listry Ace runs in the 2.08. Grace as she is known in the kennel has actually won 5 races on the bounce with her winning run starting back in September in grade A9 and today she contests an A5 grade to try and chalk up number six.

Barbara is part of a syndicate run by trainer Norah McEllistram and has a share in 4 dogs. Members pay £250 for a full years membership and it is super value giving great fun and excitement. Also if you want your own greyhound give Norah a call and she will find you a greyhound of Derby Standard plus you can name it even in your business name and oh boy what an excellent way to advertise.

We have a good card at Kempton tonight and for Howies Hottie I’m on Dutch Uncle in the 7.25. The gelding has been off for a while but if you research his form he has been placed behind the likes of Jack Hobbs and Time Test and at decent odds he will do for me.
