19th July 2016

Hi ,

Well again I have little to report from the club. It has been a slow July thus far and we are yet to see a profit. Fortunately we haven’t lost too much ground and a good run of results for the last week and a bit will see us power forward. Certainly not impossible and the outlook is very promising.

There are horses coming out that we have been waiting for and with the sun coming out (at least for now). We should really start making hay. If you are not involved with us then now may be the best time of the month to get on board.

Today we will focus on the Musselburgh card as it offers the best chance for any profit.

14:15 – LUCKY VIOLET from the Iain Jardine stable looks the way to go in this pretty open race 6/1 is widely available at the time of writing. LETRIGHTBEDONE has shown little this season but 20/1 is a huge price and we have heard that the ground may suit better today and the stable are positive.

14:45 – No Opinion

15:15 From the same stable as LETRIGHTBEDONE comes BUNCE a horse we backed before. He ran a game race but couldn’t land the spoils. Still giving every indication at home that he is in rude health I don’t think we can ignore the chance today and would be a reasonable bet at 5/1. The 2 above names could well feature in a small e/w double for the LINDA PERRATT team.

15:45 Two horses we like in this race and both are value prices first for Micky Hammond MULTIGRAIN shows up well on our speed list and offered over 12/1 in places he does make some each way appeal while ANNIGONI runs for the inform Ruth Carr and at a price of 8/1 with Will Hill makes slightly more appeal.

16:15 Ruth Carr has another good chance here with ELLAL around 5/1 it could well be a worthy double with ANNIGONI but I think e/w is where I would want to be.

16:45 ALWAYS RESOLUTE for Brian Ellison is strong in the market and worthy favourite but HILLGROVE ANGEL from the JARDINE yard should make him work for it at the least.

Not much of interest elsewhere so I will sign off. Next week’s newsletter has some great inside information so watch out for that!

Back Next Tuesday.

Best Wishes,

Matt - Unity Racing Club
