Hi ,

It would be a good time to find some winners after England were beaten by Iceland in the football. It was a poor start to the week so let’s see if we can brighten it up for you a little.

It has been a good week for us at Unity Racing we nail a few more winners including 18/1 sp on Maureb a few days ago and then we nailed 8/1 sp winner UNABATED first time up for Marco Botti these winners push us into a new realm of profitability as we reach new all-time highs.

Our newsletters have really been coming up with the goods we nailed 5 winners from the last newsletter but have been nailing regular winners ever week and some at great prices too. So let’s have a look at horses that we have backed recently there are a number that are ready to win and maybe didn’t get the luck on the day.

We have backed many horses that ran ok for us but have gone on to win like GREEN DOOR and HYDRANT.

Here are our thoughts on 2 horses that came close for us.

• Australian Queen
• Age: 3 (Foaled May 7th, 2013)
• Sex: Bay Filly
• Breeding: Fastnet Rock (AUS) - Barshiba (IRE) (Barathea (IRE))
• Trainer: D R C Elsworth
• Owner: Mr J C Smith

We backed her at 16/1 sent off at 14/1 and ran a really good race over a mile at Salisbury with Oisin Murphy on board. She is a really nice filly and will definitely win a race in the current form she is in. There are no entries as yet but she has a future and is working really well at the moment.

• Si Senor (IRE)
• Age: 5 (Foaled April 23rd, 2011)
• Sex: Bay Gelding
• Breeding: Dansili - Kotsi (IRE) (Nayef (USA))
• Trainer: E F Vaughan
• Owner: Mr A M Pickering

This horse nearly pulled off a major gamble for us, we backed him at 12/1 and he was sent off at 11/2 and got beaten into 2nd. He was working well at home but connections ran him on turf which doesn’t really suit. He is a better horse on the all-weather. He may well be too short next time as the market will have noticed but he is bouncing at home and has wins in him again this year as he looks much stronger this year.

Ok let’s have a quick look at today’s cards.

Hamilton Tuesday 14:00 6f 6y class 5 Highland Spring Water Avon Gorge Novice Auction Stakes ALFIES ANGEL is worth a bet at 2/1 the horse will definitely need further but was noted staying on after the penny had dropped last time and may get there today we made him a 6/4 chance so the price is a bit of value.

14:30 1m 67y class 6 Ferniegair Handicap (3yo plus) Ruth Carr has her string in good order at present and 16/1 about INTENSIFIED looks pretty generous the trainer does well at Hamilton. Opt Out could spring up at any time and should also be considered at around 14/1

15:00 Nothing of note here two Irish raiders and plenty of horses with chances probably best to swerve this race.

15:30 I would be with MOVE IN TIME I see him as the class horse of the race 11/8 is about the right price though so its not viable for us to bet.

16:00 6f 6y class 4 totepool Chatelherault Palace Handicap (3yo plus). We backed COSMIC CHATTER a few runs ago and he should go close again today but TIKTHEBOX at 8/1 is the value for us here and should be the bet to make.

17:00 5f 7y class 6 High Definition Racing UK Handicap (3yo plus). We are going with TRIBESMAN here 10/1 is available and hopefully the first time cheek pieces can spark enough improvement to win. Not that he needs to improve to win this we have him top of our speed list and is our Hamilton NAP.

Brighton 14:15 5f 213y class 6 Cash Out At bet365 Handicap (Div 1) (3yo plus) CANFORD BELLE is the one for us here. We told you this stable were coming into form and this horse can get another win for them at generous odds of 4/1.

14:45 5f 213y class 6 Cash Out At bet365 Handicap (Div 2) (3yo plus). It’s hard to go against the favourite ESSAKA 9/4 is a fair price the stable are flying and the horse ticks all the boxes. FRANGARRY has disappointed connections this year but was looking capable of a win at home so maybe cheek pieces will help him concentrate on the job if they do he could go close at 12/1.

15:15 No opinion on this race it’s a real pin dropper I have a feeling the result could be a shock as there are more questions than answers for most of these.

15:45 1m 1f 209y class 6 bet365.com Handicap (4yo plus). None of these are much good we won on SOLVEIGS SONG last time out yet the time of the race was poor and under a penalty I couldn’t back him at short odds FRANTICAL will have some kind of chance at 10/1 but I’m going to go for the overpriced horse LADY HARE who ran well returning from a break before fading out in the final furlong 40/1 is a huge price and it wouldn’t take loads of improvement to win today. The horse is still learning and is a late type and well handicapped sure she’s no world beater but she wouldn’t be 40/1 if she was from a mainstream stable.

16:15 1m 3f 196y class 5 bet365 Handicap (3yo plus) PALISADE looked unlucky and could make amends here 3/1 looks a very nice price I would be worried about CLIFF EDGE but we had Palisade at 7/4 when we priced up the race so we can ignore 3/1. Nothing would make us bet in the last 3 races on the card there is little value and lots of chances.

Chepstow - Just one race here 18:40 6f 16y class 6 Equestrian Surfaces Ltd Handicap (3yo plus). Tough race WAHAAB was unlucky last race he really should have won but didn’t get the gaps when needed yet when he did he travelled like a really well handicapped horse in great form so he has to be on the short list. EUROQUIP BOY also has claims and reports are he is working well at home again. BOLD GROVE although out of the handicap could run well back down to 6 furlongs. He is match fit and bred to improve with age so I wouldn’t count him out at 20/1 as his last run at Newbury can be forgiven.

Back Next Tuesday.

Best Wishes,

Matt - Unity Racing Club
