3rd May 2016

Hi ,

As we welcome the start of a new month we anticipate the profits that could be available. Last May we changed the way we proof our bets to be more user friendly and responsible. From today the last full year has resulted in a 497 point profit to mainly level stakes.

That’s an impressive ROI of 26%. That’s a full year of real profits for our members. No huge drawdowns just a good honest set of results that we are proud to have delivered.

The first Classics of the season have been run in the 2000 and 1000 guineas. I think the 1000 was run to a very high standard and will prove a great line of form for the coming months. Yet the 2000 for us was a little lacklustre compared to the last couple of years. It could just be the form doesn’t amount to much.

It has been a very strange month weather wise and horses are prone to feel this. April we record a small loss around 2 points which for us is seen as a really great result and our losses last April were over 80 points we feel we have made progress in a difficult month to predict.

May on the other hand we made a really great profit and backed plenty of winners. We are looking for the same this time round. If you are not involved with us already I would urge you to come on board now so by the end of the summer you will have the profit in your account rather than hearing it about it!

There are a few horses we have backed recently that should be in the notebook. First up a horse that ran yesterday that may well be overpriced next time.

• Links Drive Lady
• Age: 8 (Foaled February 28th, 2008)
• Sex: Brown Mare
• Breeding: Striking Ambition - Miskina (Mark of Esteem (IRE))
• Trainer: D K Ivory
• Owner: Cynthia Smith & Radlett Racing

This mare is in really good form at home and has been showing a bit on the track. She was a good 3rd to ENGLISHMAN in a class 3 race staying on at the finish. That horse has come out and won in a better grade. Links finished last in a class 4 last time but missed the break very badly and could find no way through. She is a horse that comes from the rear but it was too big a task last time on ground that may not have suited but is certainly one to keep on the right side of especially with cut in the ground. She could well be double figure odds because of her last run which we are happy to put a line through.

There is another horse that is sure to be a winner soon.

• Swirral Edge
• Age: 3 (Foaled February 15th, 2013)
• Sex: Bay Filly
• Breeding: Hellvelyn - Pizzarra (Shamardal (USA))
• Trainer: D H Brown
• Owner: Mr D H Brown

A well named horse as Swirral Edge is a route up Hellvelyn! This horse is set to win. She is a progressive filly that has wintered well and will get better and better with age. I doubt she will make it to group level but connections think she may be capable of a good show up to listed class if not this year she should reach prime by the age of 5. If she stays fit and strong then there should be plenty of races to be won with her. Next time out she definitely should be bet if the odds allow.

Before we go we just want to leave you with some breeding News of a horse that is going to prove an international breeding success THE FACTOR himself a grade 1 winning son of war front. He has produced a number of very tidy animals. His progeny should be followed especially the colts whom we believe there is one with classic potential once he is named we will update you on this matter.
