Tuesday's FREE Tip Is Ready...

5th April 2016

Hi ,

March finished with our noses just in front thanks to 12/1 sp winner Insolenceofoffice it was a tough month yet we kept our bank intact as our record grows more impressive. We are in 3rd place on the all-time table and that means lots and lots of hard cash that sits in our account. We continue to take money from the markets. Being so close to our all highs mean we are getting paid regularly and with 1 point proofing no huge draw-downs either.

We told you about PREDOMINANCE last week he ran at Doncaster and was hampered at a crucial stage but it wasn’t a bad run.

We were not on with Unity as there was no value in the price but largely because this horse will come on bundles for the run. With the next few runs the horse should be much better and can confirm the promise he has.

We do have a couple more horses to follow later in this message but first we will see if we can dig out some nuggets of gold from the horses we have lost on this month.

SILVER BID – looks a horse full of promise and we were given the news before his first run at Wolverhampton. We were told at the time that the horse was one to watch next time out. Wow they were right. He was one of 2 that set a tremendous pace and while the other horse petered out tamely. He kept on gamely and just got nailed by a fast finisher. He was a huge gamble that day, we has backed him at 13/2 and he went off at 7/2. That was only his 2nd run and we confidently expect the horse to win next time out under similar conditions or maybe even on soft turf.

COLOUR MY WORLD – also went close for us (as many did this month) we back him at 12/1 but he was no match for the winner. The horse has found some form and is going well at home. He’s never going to be a world beater but they should find a little race somewhere this month.

Right let’s find another 2 horses for the flat season note book.

• Lumiere
• Age: 3 (Foaled March 10th, 2013)
• Sex: Grey Filly
• Breeding: Shamardal (USA) - Screen Star (IRE) (Tobougg (IRE)
• Trainer: M Johnston
• Owner: Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum

Not since the likes of Attraction and Shamardal has a horse trained by Mark Johnston been spoken about in the same terms as Lumiere. What a filly. Just been galloped at Haydock the horse definitely impressed. The only question really is will this horse stay a mile – well a good friend of mine who rides out at the stable tells me she will stay a mile really well and he feels she will go really close in the 1000 guineas.

• Bess Of Hardwick
• Age: 3 (Foaled April 11th, 2012)
• Sex: Bay Filly
• Breeding: Dansili - Request -Rainbow Quest (USA)
• Trainer: L M Cumani
• Owner: Duke of Devonshire

A half-sister to Ask who was a high class performer. This filly is set for a really good season and has really gained some weight over the winter. Her bone structure looks far more solid than last year and I expect the 2nd half of the season to be the time she will start to show it on the race track. Whatever she has already done was just a bonus and this year she will pay her way.

Best Wishes,

Matt - Unity Racing Club
