Wednesday's FREE Tip Is Ready...

10th February 2016

Hi ,

We have all been reading about the protest on increased ticket prices at Anfield and I have to agree with these fans as it's nothing but sheer greed by Liverpool to try and get more money out of loyal supporters.

However it's not just the Pool who are at it but nearly every top club in the Premier League over charge their fans. When you consider most of the top clubs charge between £50 and £97 for decent seats that have a good view yet still want to increase for next season.

With the extra billions in television money that will be given to these clubs next season this is nothing but a kick in the teeth for genuine fans and my advice is to join the walk outs during games to show our anger at the greedy attitude and lack of respect for all football supporters.

One voice or one club is a whisper but if we all join the protest the clubs will hear us shout and they will have to react as without fans there is no football. At the end of the day the owners and shareholders of our clubs must be made to realise they are running football clubs not football businesses.

I can reveal a plot has been hatched in a leafy road in Hove for a horse to take this years Grand National. My girlfriend Barbara and her sister Linda have a friend staying with them at the moment who's name is Grace and she is the sister of John Kiely who trained the winner of the Irish Gold Cup last week in Carlingford Lough where he was totaly unfancied yet still romped home at 20/1.

The gelding is owned by J.P.McManus and was rejected by stable jockey Barry Geraghty in favour of another runner showing even connections can get it wrong at times.

Now Grace has confided to us that rather than go to Cheltenham the horse will be aimed at the national as he has a telling turn of finishing speed and if he negotiates the fences nothing would live with him on the long run in.

However the horse is a bad traveller and J.P was thinking of asking Donald McCain if the horse could stay at his yard the week before the race. I have also chipped in and asked if last weeks winning Jockey Mark Walsh can keep the ride as once outsiders see Geraghty is on another mount it will keep the price high. At the moment he is availble at 28/1 with 888sport.

Of course plans can change over time and regular readers of my column will know I have put up a particular horse for the National in my hot handicappers list.

We had no luck with Howies Hottie last week when Loud did not get to the front however he goes again at Southwell tomorrow in the 3.55 a 7 furlong low grade handicap and must have every chance. Now there is a big danger in the race in Artbeat who is one of my eye-catchers so my advice is two singles and a small reverse forecast.

HOT HANDICAPPERS

I hope you have been following them as over the last week these have all won. Top Offer 11/1, Fine N Dandy 8/1, Le Reve 4/1, Doctor Parkes 8/1 and Blaklion 4/1.

SYNTHETIC SURFACES

Mezmaar trainer K.Morgan - A good winner at Kempton the horse is still on a very workable mark.

Sharjah trainer A.Slattery - Bold Irish front runner who is knocking on the door and can win especially if he gets an uncontested lead.

Tsar Paul trainer J.Nash - Came over from Ireland last week to run at Kempton in bottom grade making late headway behind the placed horses and can pick up a minor race at 6 or 7 furlongs. He is now an 11 year old but still has ability.

JUMPERS

Tap Night trainer Lucinda Russell - On a winnerable rating especially over hurdles and is owned by J.P McManus.

Back next Wednesday be lucky.

Howard Davis-Shaw.
