Declans Eyecatchers - Irish Horses To Follow...

DONE TELL NO ONE (John Kiely) Ex Dermot Weld, has been raced very sparingly over the years, and once won after a two and a half year absence. So a break of a year proved no problem and he just failed to reel in Tesseract. Crying out for three miles.

EXCHANGE RATE (Willie Mullins) Quickened up well to scoot home at Galway and looks to have a nice future both over hurdles and on the level.

GIORNI FELICE (Eddie Lynam) While a hood first time out didn't look too promising and he wasn't mapped until late in the race, this 25/1 shot finished like a train and would have caught Perfect Soldier in another stride. Clearly not straightforward, but he produced an electric turn of foot at the business end.

I'M SO FANCY (Jessica Harrington) Ran well over seven furlongs when fourth to excellent yardstick Music Box but clearly needs to get back to a mile.

JET STREAMING (Adrian Keatley) Swooped right on the line to win over seven furlongs on Wednesday but requires a mile or nine furlongs now.

RICKRACK (Jessica Harrington) Attracted serious market support - 9/2 to 9/4 favourite - when taking on Exchange Rate. That was an optimistic punt on the Teofilo filly but she ran a fine race in third, not bad for her first outing in eleven months.

SLOWMOTION (Joseph O'Brien) The Galway Plate is an extremely tough race for mares so this five year old ran a blinder to finish third, particularly in awful conditions. Clearly very much on the upgrade.

WARM THE VOICE (Brendan Duke) Impressive winner at Galway last evening but we won't see the best of him until he gets faster ground. Will be a Stakes level performer at least.

WHISKEY SOUR (Willie Mullins) Landed the big race on Monday night at Galway and then landed lat night's big pot there too. Must be of interest in the mile and six handicap on Irish Champions Weekend and the Cesarewitch at Newmarket is already under serious consideration.
