Wednesday's FREE Tip Is Ready...

6th January 2016

Hi ,

I hope you all enjoyed Christmas and the end of year celebrations and are now ready to face the new year with renewed ambition and determination to make it a happy and profitable year for yourselves.

Now amongst all your new years resolutions regarding betting just remember there will be hurdles to overcome and not every month will run smooth but those who stay the distance will reap the rewards.

You will notice on the Betfan proofing that most good tipsters show annual profits year in year out but those clients who throw the towel in after 3 or 6 months can't hope to be pulling in the major profits as the big picture unfolds.

At the start of the year Arsenal are top of the Premier League but to me they look far from the finished article. This is a division where form means nothing and top can beat bottom however it is a lot more interesting than last season when Chelsea were already home and hosed.

This weekend we reach the 3rd round of the F.A Cup and I always like a little dabble and I have a fancy for West Ham who are 33/1 with Betfred. My ploy is to bet your team to reach the final at half the odds and then lay them on the exchanges each round which means if they get knocked out before reaching Wembley you still show a profit. Why not give it a go.

With the weather playing havoc at the moment the jump racing form can be taken with a pinch of salt as when the rain does stop the form book will be turned upside down.

I watched the racing at Sandown last Saturday and it was not a pretty site with some of the horses finishing out on their feet in the desperate muddy conditions. The authorities need to get their priorities right as to who is more important the bookmakers or the horses and we all know it should be our equine friends.

Todays racing is mostly on the artificial surfaces and Howies Hottie goes in the 3.50 Wolverhampton a 5 furlong handicap. The tip is Fine N Dandy who ran a decent race on the fibresand but will be much more at home on the tapeta of Wolverhampton.

He was rated stones higher when with Tom Dascome and is now with John Jenkins. This is just the type of horse that will be going on my Hot Handicappers list this year and we should get a good run this afternoon.

HOT HANDICAPPERS

SYNTHETIC SURFACES

Rocket Rob trainer W.Musson - The old boy is knocking on the door and although not as good as he once was he is on a lenient mark.

Bogsnog trainer Kristin Stubbs - About a stone lower than his last winning mark he ran well at Wolverhampton last week.

JUMPERS

Araldur trainer A.King - Well behind in the race Soll won at Sandown. The old gelding can still show ability on slightly better ground.

Leviathan trainer Venetia Williams - Has dropped to a competitive rating and goes well on soft ground.

Back next Wednesday be lucky.

Howard Davis-Shaw.
