Well I hope you all had a super Christmas and enjoyed the wonderful feast of racing especially at Kempton where Cue Card was a worthy winner of the King George for the Tizzard team. Mind you a lot of people including me feel Don Cossack might well have won had he not fallen.
Then we had the fantastic dual where Sprinter Sacre held off the ultra game Sire De Grugy in a spectacular 2 mile chase with both horses giving their all.
These were indeed races to savour however I must give a mention to yesterdays record breaker La Estrella who chalked up his 27th win on the all weather at Southwell which was top training by Don Cantillion.
Another trainer going for a record is Richard Fahey who needs one more winner to break Richard Hannon seniors 235 winners in a calendar year. He has a few more chances before the year ends and I'm putting up his Cosmic Statesman in the 6.10 Wolverhampton as Howies Hottie this week. It's a weak race and the horse has been freshened up by a couple of spins over hurdles so hopefully he can break his maiden tag and bag Richard the record at the same time.
My Eye-Catcher service has been on an amazing run with the last 4 tips all winning at 20/1, 10/3, 7/2 and 9/2. The strike rate for December stands at 50% and the R.O.I. at 112%.
Now notice I have not mentioned the points profit as to me being the best tipster is and always will be about return on investment. If you look at the last three services at the top of the Betfan monthly tables you will find their R.O.I were 43%, 65% and 22% which is creditable but does not come any where near the Eye-Catchers current percentage.
Now this new Eye-Catcher service won\t be for everyone as we don't bet every day, we don't bet just because it's Saturday and we don't bet just because it's a big meeting. We are very selective and wait for selections where we know we have the advantage over the bookmaker.

Anyway my main wish for the new year is that Betfan take my advice and have a league table for tipsters who have the best R.O.I so that clients can judge for themselves which tipsters are the best and which tipsters run their services as a professional business.
