Declans Eyecatchers - Horses To Follow...

BREEZE (Fozzy Stack) Has been unlucky to finish second to two Ballydoyle runners, sure to strike soon at trips around a mile.

CLAREGATE STREET (Mick Halford) No world beater but defied sticky ground when winning at Naas on Wednesday. A genuine sort, sure to win her share.

KALANN (Denis Hogan) He's ten years old now but with a stable that often gets a good tune from horses whose best days had appeared to be in the past. Keep a very close on on this one if he shows up at Galway.

LITTLE CLARINET (David Marnane) Tough lady seems best at six and seven furlongs and fairly ground versatile. A fillies handicap at Naas could be next but her trainer does well on his UK visits and a fillies handicap at the Ebor meeting is being considered.

MEDAL OF HONOUR (Joseph O'Brien) Only beaten half a length by odds on jolly Rostropovich at Gowran Park and not to be missed next time.

MODERN APPROACH (Jim Bolger) Possibly a bit unlucky when caught up in some late shenanigans at Gowran over nine furlongs which seems to be her best trip.

NOT A BAD OUL DAY (John Feane) Has really struck a rich vein of form lately and all roads lead to Ballybrit for the Galway Festival in a months time.

THEOBALD (Jim Bolger) The Coolcullen maestro has some very classy juveniles and this son of former stable star Teofilo looked well above average when winning on his debut at Leopardstown.
