Declans Eyecatchers - Don't Miss These Future Winners!

ARDHOOMEY (Ger Lyons) A sharp and highly consistent sprinter, he has finished second to both Washington DC and Acapulco in recent weeks and won't always have to face that kind of quality.

BECKFORD (Gordon Elliott) The first winning two year old for his multi talented and highly popular trainer. Looks well above average and must be followed as he climbs the ratings.

BLACK RUBY (Jessica Harrington) A well regarded three year old filly, she looked a bit keen going down to the start for her debut at The Curragh. It didn't bother her coming back though as she finished a fine second and judging by her action she might like some ease in the ground.

CAOLANEOIN (Shane Nolan) Despite a big drift in the market he gained an overdue success at Punchestown. Doesn't always find a lot off the bridle but battled well to beat Shadow Catcher this time.

COMMANDER GRIGIO (Fozzy Stack) Plenty of word - and hard cash - for this one on his debut in what could prove to have been a very hot maiden at Headquarters. For a stable that gets precious little wrong it was perhaps a bit disappointing that he finished a staying on fourth but he clearly has ability and the money lost is probably only on loan to the layers.

NIGHT OF GLORY (Michael O'Callaghan) Lived up to the considerable promise shown on his debut at Navan when skating home at The Curragh. Really could be anything.

SPRING GARDEN (Jessica Harrington) Wasn't the main stable fancy yet ran a nice debut race when third at The Curragh. She didn't enjoy the clearest of runs at a crucial stage, and will take beating in a fillies race next time.

THE ANVIL (Aidan O'Brien) May have been a pacemaker for Venice Beach at Chester but ran a cracker when a close third. Ten furlongs probably his best trip and has plenty of options as he likes the Polytrack at Dundalk.

TOWNSHEND (Willie Mullins) Won as he pleased at Punchestown, and clearly his fall there at the Festival left no ill effects, either confidence or ability wise. Handles all ground but much prefers it quick. Should have a productive summer and a visit to Galway is certainly on the cards.
